Kinda was disappointed that for an episode called "Total Eclipse, there wasn't much focus on... Eclipse. :/

Still, this was mainly a set-up for next week where "New" Rouge & Dan face off.

This series has seriously got me lost... for words.

Haven't had much to say towards this series since the beginning just mostly me loving certain girls, and thou I've slowly been watching the series as well as others I've gotten caught up with a few this one included and thou a can't give an exact reason y i am so interested in this show I just gotta say I love it nano desu. It just captures me and takes me for a ride there were times a got bit lost but its flow is fluid enough to get me back on with no problem, makes me wonder why I fell behind on this series along with certain others nano desu. Anyways I am rly looking forward to moar nano desu

btw, while watching the ED more and more does anyone see a resemblance between Violette's body outline (newer ED where its a silhouette) and that of Xenosaga's Kos-mos nano desu? Guess its just me nano desu, since I played Xenosaga a lot and loved it lol XP

Also, I'm still trying to determine what my most favorite Eclipse' song is, out of this four...

- nO limiT
- moon passport
- Running on
- Futari no Yakusoku

They're all really good imo and there's no real reason whatsoever as to why I need to choose one favorite but... anyways, "moon passport" has a very slight advantage over the rest for me.

I hope they'd make and release an official Eclipse music video for each of these songs. That should be freakin awesome if I do say so myself!! :D

Btw, the series is really nearing its end............ :(

And they haven't even gotten to the MOON yet!? 2nd season perhaps? But most often times, such as in this case, I'm opposed to the idea. I want it longer but not exactly that much of another 20+ (more than half insignificant) episodes!!

So, am I misinterpreting this, or is this series actually about giant robots playing basketball?

I don't know whether that should be totally awesome or totally dumb...

That's the basic idea of this series so yes, it pretty much is. Anything wrong with it?


Of course, you wouldn't possibly know unless you see it for yourself. Whether if I say that its awesome or not wouldn't in the least guarantee that it would be the same for you, right? No offense to you but it's usually the people who questions a series without having given it a chance are the dumb ones I'd say.

PS: Watch it! Who knows, you might find it to your liking. If not, then that's just how the way it goes. I think there hasn't been an anime that managed to please everyone yet, so there shouldn't be any issue at all if ever..

I'm not questioning it, really. It's sounds like it could be really interesting, and people seem to like it. I might try it if I find the time. I was just making sure I understood the concept, because though odd, it sounds interesting and original...

Dan really chose the perfect time to take an extended nap and I thought it was gonna be a sleeping beauty sort of thing with the roles reversed. God, I just love it when they do things that frustrates the hell out of me in a dramatic/suspenseful manner.

Yea I just finished 23 and, I was expecting the similar as you did nano desu, thou the way it is now is fine, and I was kinda curious when Iceman was gonna show up again nano desu,....*looks for 24 raw*

just watched the episode 26 (last) of basquash!.trully awesome.
at first time i watch this series,kinda ridiculous.but after i watched till the end,trully awesome!.haven't feel this excited again for mecha anime.

So yeah I decided to marathon this thing with little prior research aside from reading the omnipresent TTGL/MacrossF comparisons. Took me roughly 3 days and I found it a very enjoyable ride ... most of the time.

The show did real good at the whole 'over the top' thingy (hence the TTGL references) making the utterly stupid story concept forgettable. Looked sweet, sounded even better (though MF still tops it in this devision) and added a good deal of uniqueness to the mix. Add to that a big cast of very likable and surprisingly well developed characters and we have a winner ... yes ?

Regrettably my lack of research brought me unprepared for a single name strongly connected to the show. And so the king of trolls, Kawamori Shouji has struck again. Hard.
Yeah yeah, I know - this thing was meant to be about hyperactive mecha basketball and ended up focusing solely on that. My question is why the fuck did it spent so much time on all the romance (even hinting on triangle/quadrangle at times) and character relationship buildup while never intending to resolve/conclude them in any satisfying manner !? The way I see it Dan basically ended up with Iceman (could have been worse though and he could have chosen the sky or some shit ... stupid Alto), Rouge ended up with a fuckload of injuries, and Coco with not seeing her onii-chan (who basically forgot about her somewhere along the road) for +15 episodes. And that's to only name a few of the fucked in the ass characters.

So what I got in the end was a good looking/sounding, blood flow accelerating, fun series with a ridiculous story, wasted character development and a horrible (lack of) conclusion. One of these days your trolling ways will catch up to you Kawamori ...
