Like mentioned above, you should indeed watch Black Lagoon. It's brilliant.

Black lagoon started off as a manga (this surprised me when i figured this out, thats why i am saying this). The anime is based upon the material in the manga but brings it to "LIFE". The anime is top notch, reminding me of something Kouta Hirano would write if I threw at him women, guns, and the mafia... but every chick would probably have bigger breasts and Rock would probably kill everyone he saw so forget what i said there.
Black Lagoon is about to have its THIRD SEASON. This third season is something I would kill for. If I could sacrafice half the members of FAKKU to get the Third Season done at this very second... I probably would if by sacrafice it meant to delete everything on their hard drives.
Enough with th rambling and now to answer you question, "IS IT WORTH WATCHING?" The answer is yes! If you enjoyed the anime I do recommend the manga as it is still an on-going series. Now if you excuse me this paragraph now has made me want to watch the anime in my sleep.

Yea, that was a twist too, I didn't know it was a manga first, then anime, and yes, the anime follows the manga very well, some miss placed eps, but they still pulled it off well.

I'm still wondering where the rest of the manga is, and when they will animate the current arc (that i'm reading, it's like issue 60 or so now)

Onemanga.com uploads chapters of Black lagoon I think every week. There is a new season coming out but I don't know when it will be done. All I can say is that MADHOUSE will once again be doing the art and Sunao Katabuchi will once again be the director.

And like the others said, WATCH IT NOW!! It's great, and gets thick and heavy with the action and perspectives on life. And like the others mentioned, a 3rd season is coming out, and we're all getting hyped about it.

My favorite lines in the anime from episode 2: (in sequential order)

The wacko heli pilot: Fuck shiraze baby! (I'm gonna fuck you baby!)
Rock: Heh! Shite yattaze! (I fucked you! *holds out his middle finger*)
Dutch: Amen, Hallelujah, peanut butter.
Revy: Fucking Christ sama sama daze. (Lordly lord fucking Christ.)

There are some many scenes in this Anime i like. For example the "little" Shoot-out at the church of violence *rofl*, Revi vs the Maid.......
Personally i liked the Second Season even more then the first one.
Let us just hope the third season can keep up.

Yeah, the second season was a bit more darker. Which reminds me I still need to pick up the rest of season 2...I wonder if it's all out already....hopefully I'll get some christmas cash to spend.

great show. Watch it all before season 3 starts I recommend. Read the manga if you want heads up for season 3 as well. It's Roberta's Arc where she goes fuken terminator crazy ass shiet on everybody.

I think I read it somewhere on this forum that Revy's seiyuu is different from the previous two seasons. If that's the case, I'll be pretty fucking pissed. Megumi Toyoguchi did an awesome job as Revy's seiyuu, and I wouldn't want it any other way. MELL had better come back and make a song on par with Red Fraction with a kickass OP to boot.
