I know it's a bit old of an anime at this point, but I just started watching it.
All I have to say so far, after finishing the first season is: Me gusta.
Still though, I'm unsure how to feel about some of it. Without giving any spoilers, episode 5 made me re think Reby's character altogether. I even think I loathed her after that episode. It wasn't until episode...I think...7 that what needed to be said to her was said.
Still, One of the things that bothered me throughout the season was just how strangely easily the character of Rock transitioned to his surroundings.
In the first episode you've got Rock going, "AHMG! WEAPONS AND GUNS AND BULLETS AND DEAD BODIES AAAAAAH!"
Not long after that he's making trade negotiations with arms dealers who have weapons aimed at his head like it's nothing, planning as to how a torpedo boat can take down an Apache helicopter and more. I dunno, seems kind of forced.
Anyhow, I know it's an old anime and there's probably already a topic about it hidden somewhere in the deeper parts of this forum, but I wanna know what you guys think.

I dunno if I could remember some important details regarding time but... I think time wasn't really stated there so lets assume he adapted to that hellhole world real good because he doesn't like his previous life...

The second season is great too. I also heard that Roberta also got her own OVA. Haven't found that though. If I remember correctly, the second season starts with the twin assasins, kinda a sad ending for the kids.

Have you seen it? Is it any good? Does it have cameos of the series in it? BTW, I feel like a dumass for not googling that. Yes, that smell is a brainfart and I did it!

Funny, I actually have the first season downloaded (just finished) and the second one slowly coming along now. Planning to finally watch this show this weekend.

I've only seen up to about the 1st 2 or 3 episodes. I've finished all of the currently released managa though. I loved the Twin Assassin ark. It was definitely my favorite. And near the end of the manga, The Wired Red Wild Card or something Revy says the most hilarious line to Jane. I just hope they make Roberta as badass as she is in the manga during El Baile De La Muerte. Revy's cool and all, but Roberta is literary a beast there.

Mod Note: Similar, if not identical, topics have been merged.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Getting back on topic, if I did not remember wrongly, Rock was left to his own devices, whereby his company no longer bothered about his well-being, which is why he joined the illegal trade. That and he felt a greater sense of freedom?
It has been a couple of years since I watched said anime title so my memories of Black Lagoon is quite vague.
