Well 206 and on was filler. They started doing the past history and I watched that then they started another arc and I gave up. Did they start the huge ass battles between Aizen's henchmen yet?Looking at the list of Bleach episodes of Wikipedia, I think that 206-212 is the "Turn Back the Pendulum" arc (looking at the history of the vizards; not filler), 213-214 is a small filler thing, and 215-226 (226 being the latest episode) are not filler.

I can understand why most people are dissatisfied with the fillers because of it keeping the series from continuing with the main story, but I actually liked the fillers. I agree there was WAY TOO MUCH though, but they told interesting stories. I love Bleach, all of it, and anything with the characters in it I will watch. But I do want to say that I am VERY happy to see it continuing on with the main story, since the main story is CRAZY, and will be getting even more insane as the anime progresses. Anyone who reads the manga knows this atm.
As for the fillers, I don't count the turn back time saga thingy, it was short, sweet, to the point, and pretty necessary in my opinion.
Even though I support the fillers, I still feel like they should have been more spread out, not as long, and there shouldn't be anymore for at least 100 eps. PLEASE KUBO!

Fillers are over? Thank the gods, though i heard that this Filler arc was actually pretty interesting compared to the others, something about their swords gaining actual bodies or something? That's what i heard anyway, i might watch it just to see what they all look like.

Bleach is indeed back.

This anime is just crazy on the filler. According to the Bleach Filler List, it was very close to making 50% filler before this episode. Good thing I didn't watch any of the recent filler because I found that list.

the next bit should be good as well
but the spoilers this time round werent too bad, the bit with that princess was crap but the swords getting human form wasn't awful, got to see some good fights and you get to learn a bit about the characters through how their swords act

Right, this has been bugging me for a while now. If most of the characters are ghosts (at the very least in the later arcs) then how do they die? I mean, when you die and go to the soul society, how do you die or bleed?

I dont think theyre "ghosts" in the most simple (casper) sense. Im going to call them "souls" because I need a name for them.
Normal humans cant see or interact with souls unless the souls make themselves visible to humans (End of the Arrancar arc comes to mind). We know that souls age in soul society like humans do on earth but I dont recall seeing one/reading about one being born as a baby. It seems that when a normal person dies their spirit becomes a soul and is (hopefully) sent to soul society. Their death makes them into a being above humans however they still possess a human-shape in soul society probably because that's what they were on Earth. Kurosaki is evidence of this as his soul is physically identical to his human body and his body is not a gigai and he isnt purposefully making himself visible to humans. A soul (soul A) can only be injured by another soul (soul B) under normal conditions. Lets say those souls are both humans, then they would behave like an injured person by bleeding or whatever. Soul A can allow him/her self to be harmed by a human by using a gigai or lowering them self to a level where that can happen, like how Aizen did.
I dont remember seeing what happens when a soul dies but if I was to guess I would say it has something to do with the Spirit King.
