I started watching the show. About 10 episodes in i got tired. Left for weeks, came back and tried again. This time i went in 5 episodes before i got tired. I generally dislike long animes. Or at least long animes that run off track of the main story too much. Inuyasha not only derailed but when it finally got back on track and they're so close to ending it all, the dude who they were walking after fucking flies away and they do it all over again. Does Inuyasha Suck? I'm gonna say "Yes"

Damn i hated how the series ended I also hated how the manga ended building up tension for kagome to destroy the sarced jewel to be destroyed so simple she wished it to be destroyed it was more epic fighting naraku

It was a good series. The manga was also good. But when the manga ended this year it wasn't like "OMG INUYASHA IS OVER! NOOOOO0000000!!!!111" It was more like "So what?"

Long series can be good, and I hope One Piece ends up being twice as long as Inuyasha, but the thing is, One Piece has more than one villain who constantly cheats death at the hands of the heroes.

the anime was pretty good but it was really long
i quit after watching so many reruns, and i didn't feel like searching for the streamed jap versions since they were removed from various streaming sites D:

I watched it back on Adult Swim, read a good portion of the manga (which sucks) and went "...It's FINALLY over?" when it finished....There ARE better shows, but I wouldn't say it sucks. It's just that bashing it is so popular.
...I still don't see how NARUTO or BLEACH doesn't suck. >_> They both seem like Inuyasha minus main character having interest in women and the girly angst...(Mleh, flames.)

Well, in Bleach, Ichigo doesn't fight Aizen and win, only to have Aizen fly away and heal himself ten times. And in Naruto, Naruto doesn't fight Pain and win, only to have Pain fly away and heal himself ten times.

Agreed. Inuyasha draws out the whole Naraku thing...A large portion of the series (anime and manga) could be seen as fillers, more than that of Naruto or Bleach.
It pretty much loses it's originality after the first season...if you can call it original. The ending to the whole series didn't tie up the loose ends fully either...
