[Anime] Fate/Stay Night Remake By Ufotable

Last anime series I've finished was Fate/Zero. My body is ready again.

The Saber Lancer clash in this trailer needs to be gif'd.

The fight scene clips. The nostalgic fight music. Kotomine's voice actor in it's pedophile priest glory. The hype train is going to go overdrive soon.

About that scene where Gilgamesh meets Sakura at night. If memory serves me right, Gilgamesh never sees Sakura in any other routes besides Heaven's Feel. So the remake is going to have parts from Heaven's Feel. Yesss give those starving heretics who have never played F/SN a taste at the Nasuverse when it gets really crazy.

Heaven's Feel? Uh oh...I forgot to play that route after I was done with Unlimited Blade Works. I should go and play it after finals are over.

It takes a while to clear Heaven's feel, it's the longest and arguably the best route because it ties up everything-well there is the true route but I'd rather talk about it as little as possible to avoid spoilers. Cherry Blossom Dream route ending ftw.

I can't wait to hear the one scene play out;

"Can you keep up with me?"
...
"Don't screw with me, YOU KEEP UP WITH ME!"

...and we see the red cloth fly.

Hey, I consider Deen's Fate Stay Night to be my favourite show of all time. Unless Ufotable were to remake it too, which would be amazing.

You can eat it...but don't look it in the eyes. It can sense your weakness.



My big beef with Deen's F/SN has to be how awkward and strangely paced it is for people brand new to the series (even then I still feel pretty gross with it's pacing). Cause of that most people who go to the anime first will be turned off by the rest of the series from their first impression. Sure it's a huuugee service to people who played the VN (minus the cut-out sex) but even then I feel it's poor pacing, lack of all the routes(sorely needed for exposition) and awkward rendering of certain scenes doesn't do justice to the VN, which is an absurdly high expectation but at the very least it should've done above average. Well your verdict is probably reasonable in it's own ways I'm sure.

I actually expected Heaven's Feel to get an animated series, but when UBW got it instead, I felt more happy than sad. Gonna prepare the feels cushion that I didn't use from the UBW movie. Also, Heaven's Feel is going to have a movie of its own, which makes it even better. So much Fate this year, especially since I've just finished the VN (minus the Good Ends but True Ends are good enough) and Fate/Zero.
