[General] What anime got you into anime???

since the shitty local TV channels still air shitty Albanian dubs of DBZ and Sailor Moon and really old or worthless anime of that time, they are probably never going to air anything decent other than Naruto(the first series not Shippudden) or something the airing rights of which can be bought for dirt cheap... so watching it on tv was out of the question :(
Then one day when i was in an internet cafe since i didn't have an internet connection at home and while browsing through the random public downloaded files that were downloaded on the server of the admin/main pc i ran across across a folder named ANIME and thought what it might be? ... opened it and there was another folder named Death Note(the word death and note made me think that it would involve something about people leaving a note before their death :P) and so i opened it next and... saw some video files(.avi) in thumbnail view with a strange big black guy in them(the strange black guy was Ryuk) after coping some of the files on my 4GB USB flash drive, went home and copied them on my pc... after a few days was bored and decided to play one of the vids and after the watching the first 2 episodes i got addicted to ANIME for life :) and after finishing death note i saw FMA, later Bleach and so i was convinced that anime was the best thing i could watch on TV :) and after getting and internet connection in my home the downloading spree began...

BTW the year that i discovered Death Note was 2007
