This is getting better. So many references in this anime. At first, I was apprehensive about our protagonist, but with Kuko around, the character dynamics have changed in his favor. This is because he has one thing to throw at Nyarko, the lesbian. Nothing like a good old bait-and-switch in the infirmary. Apparently, Nyarko's brother is the new Zastin, and Mahiro's mom only tells him things 40 seconds ahead of time.

*Sigh* It's a dang shame. Perfectly viable(And very willing) Yuri option, and she prefers the dude who likes to stab her with a fork. Dang shame. Oh well, one sided or not, Kuuko is awesome. Way to graft her with the cake like that. Loved the FMA reference there. And Nyaruko gets her awesome moment too...where was that chainsaw hiding anyway? And we end on a cliffhanger. Dudes mom is coming...that should be good.

I can't imagine Nyarlathotep the crawling chaos smiling, I mean come on it's a gigantic crawling mountain of tentacles! smiling would be the last emotion it would portray if it had a face.

I love all the references to the Mythos she uses, most of the younger audience wouldn't understand which is a shame.

Anyone notice the Decade Kamen Rider series got a little hello as a cake(DK-DO, and D.Endo)?. Lol

Also, Kiva's "logo" got out when Shanta-kun transformed.

And yes, Looks like the creators loves Kamen Rider Series so much.

A Deity hunting, video game lover, who isn't accepting of Nyaruko and Mahiro being a couple? Heavens above, that's an awesome anime mom right there. And that new chick is cute...at least that's what I thought at first. Upon revelation that's he's a boy...I suddenly feel uncomfortable for what I was thinking...

I watched purely out of self-proclaimed fandom of Kana Asumi at first, but I have to say that the comedy is pretty much the only thing keeping me watching. And of course the ever-so complicated love triangle, Nyaruko loves Mahiro, Cthugha loves Nyaruko and so on... At the moment Mahiro's redeeming quality for me lies in his voice actress Eri Kitamura lol
