Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians

So, I was putting together a little something for the upcoming battle between C.C. and Kanu when I came across this.



Everything that I've heard and read about it says that its going to follow an alternate storyline. There's not a whole lot of information out there, but I do know there's going to be at least one new character.

Currently rewatching all the series and dragon destiny, i am really anxious about it's release cuz i like the story, the fan service and also the action scene a nifty anime to be sure so yeah i am excited about thie great news and the curiosity about the new character is killing me...

From what I've read, she's Sun Quan. That's all I know right about her right now.

Yeah, she is gonna be Hakufu's sister. When will Sun shang Xiang 's incarnation show up? This season will surely "ROCK" more!

Sun Quan eh u say ? if i remember correctly in the musou series he's suposed to be Hakufu's little brother and he comes into the picture when Hakufu dies and although Hakufu didnt die in the series but, in the game Hakufu die cuz of sickness not battle, and so let me tell you all here lets hope that doesn't really happen in here, we surely don't want that kind of development do we ? anyone agrees with me here ?

I agree. Actually, Sun Quan was always a part of the picture, it was just that Ce was the eldest and after their father died he was next in line. I don't really remember the story in the first 4 Dynasty Warriors, but in 5 he was cursed by Yu Ji which ultimately led to his death and in 6 after the battle of Xu Chang he caught an arrow in the back and died after Wu's victory.

I've only seen and heard of the first two seasons. Where can I find info on the new one coming up?

There isn't a whole lot of information about it. On Wikipedia and Densetsu Shoujo there is about 3 sentences on it. All they really talk about is the new character being Hakufu's little sister and that her magatama is that of Sun Quan.

Then there's the official site, but its all in Japanese. I'm sure I overlooked a few sites, but there really hasn't been a great deal of information.

There was on called Dragon Destiny(I think) before this. Unless that was an OVA or something.

Yeah, Dragon Destiny was the 2nd series. There are 6 OVAs, but they're purely fanservice and have no relevance to the show. I posted links for them in the Kanu thread in the MoteMote Characters section. It was a while ago, so only a couple still work.
