is this ok?

ok i just found out that my mother watching an anime
and i thought she was watching some drama tv show which
is boring to watch but i do watch drama shows though.

and i dont know if its ok
cause shes watching this anime below........

- fullmetal alchemist brotherhood
- ikkitousen
- gundam 00
- Bakemonogatari

she only watch when she has a free time.

Now ask yourself.
When your that age, Will it be ok to watch Anime?
Or rather, is it weird that you watch anime even at your current age?
Let that sink in your brain for a bit, the answer will come to you.

for me its ok.....as long its entertaining though >:3

Anime is "cool now" for all ages sense major companies like Funimation
in the last few years has been pushing Anime strongly then it has ever been licensing from left to right everything they can get there hands on
plus streaming sites like YouTube have helped as well in the cause for
"Anime awareness"

My father watch Kamen Rider Black RX and he's fine with it ...

I remember when I was 7 my parents were addicted to the NES. They'd play super mario
for hours and they beat it numerous times with so many free men I can't even count.
They woke me up one time just to show me they beat the game.

Oh shi- someone else. My father used to play NES just to try an beat The Legend of Zelda. And my mother would beat the shi- out him if he didn't beat the bosses. Then the control was handed to me. Man i miss my childhood.

i also feel intrigued when my parents shows an interest in these kinds of things by all means encourage them to do it and loosen up their mind

Why wouldn't it be OK? Why isn't it OK if your parents still play video games? If you go through life worrying about what you are 'supposed' to watch, listen to or do during your spare time, you'll lead a sorry life. Do what you enjoy.

One of my favorite things about anime is the wide variety of genre and types - there is something that appeals to just about everyone. Now a days, the same goes for gaming. I'm almost 60 and I am still an avid gamer (RPGs mostly) and watch anime regularly.

I honestly don't see why it wouldn't be alright for you mother to enjoy anime. Hell mine does, to an extent not that she follows anything.

I don't see how it could be wrong. In fact, I think it's pretty good. One more point of contact between you and your mother.

And what others said. Anime can be aimed at teenagers, but it doesn't meant that only teenagers can watch them. Just as with the rest of things. My dad is still a fan of those first compute games like Pac-man, and he's 50.
