Thank you so much everyone! This project was amazing and fun! This was my first time running this campaign. Although I was solo on this one, I still enjoyed the experience. Surveys will be sent out sometime this week or next week as I tally up all the add-ons and perks right now. There will be more perks but still waiting on the publisher's word right at the moment.

Status on Production:

Vanilla Essence has now been sent our to our translator!
Graphic Designer currently working on the covers, dust jacket design, and page layout on the 2nd editions.
Many of you have suggested BackerKit and we will definitely look into this right now as well.

As promised, our next crowdfunding project we will launching sometime in Spring 2016.


Why IndieGoGo? Kickstarter says it was "out of their scope." So our next alternative crowdfunding platform is IndieGoGo.

Why this one? I feel this title was misunderstood and it deserves a second chance to be localized. There is nothing pornographic but more of "suggestive situations." The presence of sex does not automatically means it's pornographic. Kojika's purpose was to tell a story, not to stimulate your sexual arousal. The series is meant for 'mature' minded readers thus why it ran in a Seinen demographic magazine. The story has a bigger message than some folks think since in this day and age, judging the content without examining it is pretty common. The definition of pornography seems to be misinterpreted numerously as well. We understood the demand is there as many have suggested this title to us through email, social media, and conventions.

Why crowdfunding? We would like to see if the demand is really there since many have voiced their suggestions. To add it, we've already received the reputation of publishing what's out of the norm.

What can I expect from this campaign? There will be shikishis just like this campaign! And the series will be in omnibus format. That is all I can reveal at this time since it's still in the infant stage of planning.

Since this is my project, I will be quality checking this book as well as Vanilla Essence. I get really picky with the quality work of the production. (I was the one who fought to have the current cover designs and paper quality for the Project-H books.) >_>

Hopefully you guys comeback for this project! It's understandable if Kojika is distasteful to some and we will fully respect your decision whether or not if want to support it. It would be great since now I need your support more than ever. We will also not be restricting the countries to deliver to either.

We haven't thought of a final title yet so suggestions are appreciated and for perks as well.

Maybe the lackluster OVA killed it, my guess at least

Except the nana to kaoru do you want it thread came way way way after the ova pop up. Like 4 months ago. Plus unlike pedophile's time the nana bdsm by frog boy would be marketable off the adult section. I don't see kodomo on the shelves in the local broke and negro or on amazon in the 'normal' manga section. Limited printing like vanilla essence.

Doesn't matter to me since it's 150$ for all the omnibuses. If it was available to stores or stocked in their store then i could buy a book at a time but im tap out with my weeb purse right now.
