Spoiler:
I like how Oku finally has the answers we've been waiting for being answered in a chapter like this, we know now that Gantz is just really an advanced alien training program of sorts given to us in order to prepare us for the alien invasions, or at least give humanity a fighting chance against them. I wonder what else we're going to find out before this manga comes to a close, which I reckon could be soon.

I'd say that chapter was brilliant.
Help came in a form of data/weaponry but the "game part" were just added by humans.
I'm still wondering how "data" or technology can revive a dead human or regenerate a missing limb.
Still, a nice chapter. What the giant thing said also got into me that humans think their lives is greater than any others - brilliant!
BTW, What happened to the two Vampires? They disappeared after the start of this whole Giant Alien mission. The cool-host guy and Gogo Yubari look-alike.

Somehow, they were forgotten all together, probably by the artist. I was hoping to see more of those two during the invasion arc, but it seems it was his plan just to have them around for the Osaka arc, but I just wished we'd get to know more about the vampires existence and how does it relate to the aliens invading Earth and Gantz, were they enemy forces as well in disguises or what? That may or not be never be answered.

I don't even remember what happened in that arc.

Okay, Nice trolling there...
I'm kinda glad that they didn't show the "decomposing".

Yep, I knew that alien was going to troll everyone by resurrecting Kei and Kato's closest allies/friends, only to kill them again just to piss them off. I was surprised clone Kishimoto was one of them though.
It would be really epic if they found a way to bring back EVERYONE whose died up to this point to fight against Sebastian, would be a good way of closing off the manga, but guess we'll have to wait and see how the Gantzers will fight against the thing that 'created' them to begin with.

Gantz should end soon. Whether the mangaka goes with an open ended ending or a cliche piece of mind ending, who knows.

Bumping this thread since things are getting interesting again.
We're finally nearing the conclusion of the arc with one final throwdown against the aliens as the whole world watches Kei fight the invading alien's most strongest warrior who challenges him or have the mothership crash into Earth, eliminating humankind.
Looks like it's going to be one hell of a fight.

I bet it'll be. But seriously, did he have to make such a useless chapter? I guess it does build up the anticipation.
Also, I have a feeling that this Kurono is going to die.

After reading the latest update, I can't believe this manga is finishing in just two more chapters. I don't think my body will be able to handle it when it all ends, it's my most favorite manga ever and to see it end means a piece of my anime soul has died when it does. I'm hoping for a good send off to this series, it was a blast.
