[Manga] Tokyo Ghoul Re [Spoilers]

With that in hand, it makes me wonder why they didn't just recruit kanekipede instead of makin' him into suitcase ken. I digress though I'll go along with the Touka route.

Personally, I'm disappointed that the new cast is a CCG team. It's pointless to judge a book from its cover and I know it, but I still miss Kaneki and the other awesome characters from the original story, and don't see how these new kids will be able to appeal to the fans.

I don't know, I really hope Ishida will play his cards right and reintroduce the old crew (well, Akira's already there), but I'm still following this, I may be disappointed but I still hope the story will be worthy.

Serpent is Nishiki? Also the mask of the guy killed by serpent looks really similar to Kaneki's Kakuja form.

Haise is a Ghoul I'm calling it. He wasn't eating with Mutsuki and the suspicion aimed towards him would be more justifiable.

Serpent being Nishiki is entirely possible, considering that his Kagune looks like a Bikaku (the tail-like one). That the timeskip helped him become a badass would be a nice surprise.

Also, unless I'm talking out my arse, Haise and his squad are all half-ghouls.

The only problem is that Nishiki wants to live a safe life with Kimi and hunting ghouls is definitely not what Kimi would encourage, however Nishiki is pretty trashy and he has an obligation to care for Shu as evidenced by the last chapter in Tokyo Ghoul(explained later). There's also Uta but that's only because I've never seen his Kagune and I find it unlikely since he's part of Pierrot. Shachi is unlikely despite having a Bikaku because he's already well known by the CCG and the mannerism doesn't fit.

Torso is likely Shu, which would explain why Hori knows him by being associated with Kanae and why Kanae is distressed because Shu is a mere serial killer compared to his former position as Gourmet.

Chie is likely part of Pierrot too, she's everywhere that's convenient for collecting information to the extent that she knew every ghoul that escaped from Cochlea.

Oops I wasn't paying attention, Haise is a hybrid(remember the front cover of the first chapter) but I misread his RC report for Mutsuki's. On that note, the breaking point in RC factor is 1000 with Haise's at 2753...meaning he's guaranteed a ghoul. This probably explains why the CCG are upset with him, why he doesn't eat with Mutsuki(while staring at him and telling him to fatten up) and why the doctor was being so cautious around Haise when mentioning a hybrid passing the RC factor. I'm curious as to how he curbs his appetite.

Slightly excited for Rize's reappearance, eventually.

By the end of the original manga, when Nishiki met Kaneki for the last time before our beloved centipede went to help Anteiku, he said he was going to visit Kimi one last time and then go into hiding. Dunno if he simply met her to say goodbye or if they stayed together - I hope it's the latter.

If 'Torso' is Shuu well... holy sh*t that's bad. I doubt it though, the guy is too fabulous to degenerate to such a level, though he WAS pretty desperate before the CCG raid on Anteiku. Kanae on the other hand made me snicker a bit, he is to Tsukiyama what Naki is to Yamori.

About Chie, reading stuff about her I guess she fills a similar role to Sen Takatsuki, dunno if she's one of the clowns as well though. Now let's make bets if she's a ghoul or not~
