[Manga] Tokyo Ghoul Re [Spoilers]

The more I read the new tokyo ghoul it seems more that the new protagonist is Arima's son not kaneki. And for kaneki to come back would be a pure miracle and the thing is tokyo ghoul isnt the type of manga that has any sort of fantasy in it which makes me thing kaneki coming back is even more unlikely.

In Tokyo Ghoul Arima is only 29 years old knowing there is a time skip between Tokyo Ghoul and :re lets say he's around 32 him having a 22 year old son is kind of impossible.

It wouldn't be pure miracle for Kaneki to survive as Noro has survived worse than what happened to Kaneki.

[size=12][/h]I have a theory on who serpent is.

Spoiler:
I think that Serpent is Rengi. This is because Serpent appears to be wearing a trench coat every time he is seen, as was what Rengi almost always wore when he was seen. Serpent appears to be hunting other ghouls, but not only that but ghouls connected to Aogiri Tree. He might be trying to avenge his friends as they were one of the reasons they are gone now.

No your fine. Kakuja might be a solution or deceiving people with his trenchcoat would suffice. I'm actually surprised that Ishida hasn't pulled the Ghoul impersonating a different Kagune card yet.

Chapter 6 is out at Imperial Scans, go read it.

Honestly, more than the pretty epic conclusion, Serpent has my full attention for now, mainly for two reasons.

1. He says problematic people (in this case, the Quinckes) must be 'plucked', which was Kaneki's philosophy. Since he's not Kaneki, I'm betting that at least he knows him.

2. If he really turns out to be Nishiki (which would explain point 1 as well), then I kind of wonder how strong the original crew is by now (those still alive that is). I mean, look at this guy, that Bikaku is as huge as a freakin dragon's tail.

Kaneki's back, sort of. From the looks of how quickly Serpent and Haise were unveiled Sui's hurrying things along and I'm pretty happy with that so we can cut to the meat of the matter.

Okay is Arima in a wheelchair? Because that's kind of nutty considering that the CCG is pretty much helpless before Aogiri without him. Maybe that's why the CCG are so desperate to rush ghoul hybrids.

Oh and all these subtle nods to previous Tokyo Ghoul chapters are nuts. Yamori posing, Kaneki's impalement of Nishiki(even he recognized that), Nishiki kicking a hole in his stomach and so on.

Btw Arima ain't in a wheel chair. If you look at Haise's chair closely they're both swiveling chairs.

Yeah I thought that too but the way Arima's chair was drawn is really weird, the wheel is really close to the ground like it's touching it but there's no rig to the wheel so your probably right. I thought it would be an interesting surprise, would make one wonder who could cripple Arima let alone touch him.

If it ever becomes bring your son to work day, Arima will bring Kaneki in a briefcase.


EDIT: This Rabbit only has one wing. I'm almost certain it's the brother though.

I just caught up to this manga. It is funny how everyone, myself included, had the same opinion from the first chapter. Although...

I gotta say, I did conclude Sasaki a ghoul, but for some reason I didn't properly connect he was Kaneki. I don't get why this is. This should be the most obvious thing to call from like chapter one of this series.
