Evangeline's new look & personality gives me mixed feeling. At last she's still alive (she's vampire duh)

-It's in the same universe, because of that orbital elevator
-If Touta's parent's are Konoe, and Negi springfield is his grandfather, that means Negi married Konoka?
-Negi's dead?
-I love Eva's new look and personality. XD
Now I'm just looking forward to direct or indirect recurring characters ( indirect: a character who's another descendent from negi's team)

-And probably the story time setting is 50-60 years after end of Negima.
-Being Negi's grandson doesn't mean Konoka was married to Negi. I think this situation is more realistic. But one can dream.
-I'm wondering about that too.

Before that lets wait till this manga gets stable. Maybe in 30 chapters or more lol.

But, if it's true that the time setting is 50-60 years after Negima's ending, I believe we'll see Ayaka one day (probably on her late 80, she lived pretty long)

I'm more concerned about Negi's fate.
I remember it's stated that Negi's body is made immortal after Magia Erebea consumed him (he became a demon iirc) so why the heck is negi dead? for the sake of hiding his immortal status or something?

Thing is, the son of Konoka wouldn't have the Konoe name. I'm guessing Negi either decided the child will have the Konoe name or did an adoption.

As for Negi's death... maybe he's in hiding? We might see him later in the future.

But that's saying Konoe's child was decided to take the Konoe name. It'd be equally likely to say that Negi's child was the same. Either way, since Konoka is a daughter, the Konoe name should have went away with her unless Konoka had a brother...

Or they just decided to keep 'Konoe' eastern Family name instead of the western 'Springfield'

You can't really "decide" in Japanese marriage culture, but it's another simple thing and it was already shown in the manga itself with Touta's father name being Konoe Jintetsu. This means Konoe's husband married into the Konoe family. There's also the part where the Konoe family is already a big name in the Magic Association, and can't have their successor marrying into any other family.

And as another example is Eishun himself, he married into the Konoe family with the arranged marriage with "Konoemon's daughter", before his marriage he was known as Aoyama Eishun.

Heh. Now I know why Ken left such a big ending the way it was in Negima!.

There's also the probability that Negi might have more than one child. And like Kaimax said, when you marry into a family with a known name, you take on that family name be it man or woman. No exceptions really. And it happens in other mangas too.

Aside that, it seems the years have progressed enough to warrant a space race with personal ships. I'm guessing at some point the years inbetween, Ayaka had the lead with technological advances as it was her family's business/company that started work on the OE. What I'm trying to say is that since she had relations of the magical world through Negi, she might have borrowed designs of the magical ships and used them for the first ships. Just my stupid theory.

Also Outlaw Star Heifong race. Haha!

One of Negi's descendent? With that hair and style? (Fan rumor saying that Negi actually had many kids.)

So Eva is now Yukihime, really liking her new look. And that Jinbei Shishido, could he actually be Nagi? Considering how he claims he's been around for 1400 years, and Nagi was known as the Thousand Master.. Just my own theory.
