Man...I really miss K-ON!

As I'm sitting here, typing up this new topic, thoughts of Mio, Ritsu, and the gang are drifting through my mind. I remember the rehearsals, the costume changes, the tea parties. I remember how much I smiled when they did their first gig, and how proud I was of everybody coming together for the one at the end of the series.
Man...I really miss K-ON! It was such a simple and sweet show, and I loved watching it every week. I miss the music. I miss the adventure, and most of all...
Spoiler:
Anywho, anyone else feeling like me?

K-ON! was an odd sort of anime. I enjoyed watched every episode, yet was ultimately left unsatisfied. It just never really went anywhere. It ended up just being a sort of voyeuristic pleasure of watching day-to-day activities of cute girls. I dunno, maybe that was the point?

Remurmur - Yes, that was exactly the point of the anime. Notice that there were lots of times (like before the school concerts) were they could've made the story a bit more tense, but they didn't. It stayed calm and relaxed from start to finish, and that's exactly what they wanted to do. Personally, I liked that alot.
On topic. I sort of miss K-ON!. I would be happy to have another season. But if not, it's okay too. Maybe it would be better to not to, since it could turn out bad *cough*haruhi*cough*. And that would ruin the series overall.

Mm, I definitely agree with both points you made there. It was such a nice, slice of life show that made me smile for about 20 or so minutes every Friday. I would also love another season, but yeah. With all of the Haruhi bs going on...I'm not so sure.

Yeah K-ON! was a good show, but do not worry they're making an OVA. The sad thing is your going to have to wait January 2010 for it.

And. we still have the manga, (but I haven't gotten around to reading that yet).
Speaking of specials, however, it looks like Chihiro, (a sub group), put out a two minute K-ON special from the Blu-Ray discs.

The local music store has a cut out of Mio on the wall behind counter. It reminds me of how she hates creepy and morbid things. Then I think of creepy and morbid things too and get creeped out.

K-ON! Live was a joke so don't take it serious. But I really enjoyed this one. Each character is cute in their own respect. And if you want to say Mio is your waifu I don't really care. I like Ritsu more because of what she did in her room in the episode with alot of dilenmas

Ye i agree with some facts above as well.
It was nice series, thou kind of a sort one. I'd be happy to have a second season as well, but that might turn bad one as someone above there said it as well.
Can't wait for OVA! =P

Curious and Wondering
You're not alone... I'm also on the "I want a 2nd Season of K-On!" side as well.
I think if the producers stay on track by getting most (like 90%) of the gags and story in the manga (as they did in K-On and it worked), the second season will be as good as the first one.

Yeah, that sounds about right to me. I'm guessing that they will let the manga run for a little while longer before any details of a second season emerge.

I, for one, want KyoAni to make a new season of Full Metal Panic or Lucky Star much more than K-ON!. Little Busters is also better.
In fact, a new season of K-ON! is the worst thing I expect to see for KyoAni's next project.
