Mobile Suit Gundam 00

Everything gets shot to hell, making this series more like Code Geass than Gundam Wing. If you thought Lockon was going to be the only Celestial Being member to die (like me), you were so wrong! The Ptolemaios is destroyed and Lichty, who we find out is a cyborg, and Christy both die. The rest of the crew aren't in much better positions either, with most of the Gundams, except Exia, severely damaged. Unlike my prediction, Patrick dies. We find our crazy friend Alejandro in a gaudy, golden mobile armor, and he reminds us of a time when mobile armors were something to be feared. He has around 7 fake solar furnaces powering that machine. This makes him capable of firing long-range, Virtue-level beams, and a high-level GN-Field.

In the next episode preview, it sounds like all the Gundams, except for Drei of course, wind up destroyed. I honestly wonder how things will turn out since we still haven't seen Aker with his Fake Solar Furnace-powered Flag.

Let me say this, I actually felt sad when Lichty and Christy died, despite them being such underdeveloped characters. The way the scene was handled led us to believe that Lichty may survive due to his mostly cybernetic body, but it soon gives off the "dead" feeling. Christy seems fine, having been protected by Lichty, but soon after Lichty dies, we see a piece of shrapnel embedded into her back. She then coughs up blood into her space helmet. To top it all off, and kill all hope of their survival, the remnants of the Ptolemaios' bridge explode.

Also, Nena is still nowhere to be found. Just FYI.

-Allejandro's Mobile armor is over kill!!!! Poor Dr. Moreno, killed before getting any plot.
What's going to happen in the next season:
1. Rebuild Celestial Being from scratch.
2. .....(Can't think of any other)

I was sort of exaggerating about the Code Geass comparison. This episode wasn't that crazy. Now that I've thought about it some more, it seems more like the ending to Seed.

As for Gundam 00's second season. I think that Celestial Being will be "defeated" and they will have to go into hiding until the massive damage done to the Gundams can be repaired. Gundam Wing examples: when Trowa and Heero were traveling together before Noin has them come with her to go to Zechs and when they go out into space. So it will probably have less Gundam action and more character development. Setsuna will still hide in that apartment, and somehow Saji will get involved from there. Marina Ismail's role is hard to pin down though. Is she going to be like Relena? Or will she realize that one's ideals cannot stand up to reality?

-Hallelujah and Allelujah combine their powers to beat Soma and sergei (cool... they lift their bangs), and Allelujah realizes that Soma Peiris is Marie (Don't know about it yet)
-Setsuna destroyed Alejandro and his Alvatore (Alejandro was betrayed by Livonze), but then gets ambushed by Aker with his GN Flag, results in both units half destroyed.
-I know that some of you don't want any more Major characters to die, but there are some:
-Hallelujah died after fighting Soma and Sergei
-Don't know is Lasse is dead or not, but his cockpit explodes when fighting the Alvatore.

FOUR YEARS LATER
- Saji finally works in space.
-The three nations unify them selfs to be The Earth Federation, with some Cool lance wielding GN-X for a troop.
- Marina's advisor, Shirin Bakhtiar seems to quit of her job
-Livonze,he was last seen in Veda's main core, with five others with him.
-Aker became Char Aznable clone, he's staring to wear a mask.
-Ali Al Sarshes is still ALIVE!
-Tieria follows the way of Lockon, to start of, he change his hair like Lockon, and Louise is shown behind him, with shorter hair (don't know if their in the celestial being or not.)
-Nena joined Celestial Being
-0 Gundam is shown
-00 Gundam is shown,and Ian Vasty said" We don't know if Exia's Solar Furnace will work" hinting that maybe Setsuna is Alive
-No news about Allelujah Happtism , Sumeragi Li Noriega, or Feldt Grace
-Oh yeah, Patrick SURVIVES! What a lucky guy :lol: !

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw Patrick alive in the epilogue. I'm surprised by the number of people who should have died but didn't (in traditional Gundam fashion), like Ali. So my original guess about Patrick is correct as well as my guess about the timeskip. Saji's role is still a mystery, and the Louise/Tieria ( :lol: Lockon hairstyle) thing was odd. Lasse may not be alive, but Allelujah probably is. Also in traditional Gundam fashion, we get psychos as villains and a masked man. I hope Nena's personality has been fixed now that it seems she's piloting the 0 Gundam alongside Setsuna (probably) in the 00 Gundam. Then I can yell "Moe~!" whenever I see her on screen. Damn Sunrise though for not showing a 4-years-older Feldt. Let's hope she hasn't also grown the Lockon hairstyle.

Yeah, I LOLed Big time, when I saw it, "It can't be Patrick", so I checked Wikipedia and they say that he survives.

-Nena is bit older now, huh. Her face is clean now, but are you sure Nena will pilot the 0 Gundam? I think her Throne Drei is a lot more useful than a RX-78 look alike equipped with a solar furnace, Why not change the fake solar furnace in Throne Drei with the real one, that's a lot more useful.

-Oh yeah, why are the GN particles in the epilogue is blue-ish than green-ish? New Technology?

The GN particles at the end looked green to me.

As for Nena, you do realize that her face (before the timeskip) wasn't dirty and those were freckles, right? The reason I think that she's the pilot of the 0 Gundam is because Sunrise wants to develop a Nena x Setsuna relationship. I can't imagine Setsuna NOT being the pilot of 00 Gundam, and if he is, I can't see anyone other than Nena piloting the 0 Gundam. I think, similar to the Trinity units, the 0 Gundams can work/combine together. Let's hope it's not as crazy as a Vandread combination though. However, considering that a few people have lived despite their cockpits blowing up in their faces, I wouldn't put it past Sunrise to have those Gundams combine to form the 000 Gundam where Nena sits in Setsuna's lap (Vandread Reference).

Saji and Louise's roles in this still bother me. I still love their characters, but what overarching importance do they have? I can't figure it out.

-I think you watch too many Vandread. I like Vandread to, but the idea of 0 Gundam combines with 00 Gundam to make 000 Gundam is just funny, and the cockpit idea is funny to :).

-Yeah, Saji and Louise's relationship is bothering me to. What made Louise goes with Tieria, but IS Tieria still with Celestial Being? I can't Imagine Louise forgiving the Celestial Being for ruining her life.

I don't know what got into me, but I thought it was funny imagining a 000 Super Gundam (aka Gundam Haro). So yeah, I was definitely not being serious about that. Nor am I serious when I say that I think there's going to be a catfight between Nena and Marina.

Anyway, I'm leaning towards Tieria not being in Celestial Being anymore. Maybe he'll re-join after Ali's inevitable return. I mean what better person to take revenge on Ali than one sporting the Lockon haircut? I wonder if Louise got a mechanical hand like Anakin or Dr. J. That would explain why she is able to come to space.

Speaking of space, have you noticed how little the 'space colonies' were involved? It's strange because Gundam tends to lean towards an Earth Vs. the Colonies kind of thing.
