I believe the anime version of Nyan Koi is doing well enough to warrant a second season. However, I don't think the second season will come very soon; based on my memory, the manga is still relatively new with only a few volumes.

@theotaku: Yes, I agree the mail lady does resemble Mutsume from Love Hina.

I don't recall Kaede ever calling dibs on Junpei so it annoys me that Kanako has to feel sorry for liking him as well; which is why Nagi's awesome for her actions' conformity with her thoughts and feelings.

A vain and futile attempt of it that I have heard is, "sistas before mistahs." I would add the adjective "lame" before vain.

I personally don't see how the series can wrap everything up by the next and last episode. There are so many things that I want to see: A Junpei/Kotone date; Kanako's confession; an episode featuring Nyamses (that cat is win); a Junpei confession to Kaede?

The allergy thing never made sense to me, as I have a cat and a sibling who is allergic to cats. My brother just takes a pill (I think it's zyrtec) and he can hold and play with the cat without a problem. I don't know the severity of his allergy; but if a pill a day can prevent allergic reactions, what's with Junpei not wanting to touch a cat. Surely Japan has pharmacies and modern day medicine (though anime Japan != real world japan).

I had decided to drop the question at the last minute (as I had wanted to keep the already so little integrity my post had) but alas, I was too late.
