Rosario + Vampire

With plenty of criticism concerning season 1 floating around the internet, it is probable that Gonzo may pull up their socks, sticking to the actual storyline, as shown in the manga, this time round. However, one must also note that there are a fair share of viewers who enjoyed the supposedly excessive fanservice.

Tower of Druga and Blassreiter are relatively more "serious" anime titles, so it is not surprising that Rosario+Vampire 2 may be of a comedic nature once again.

It does kinda suck, the manga is actually 1/2 way decent, I can understand how fans of it would be really PO'd at what they did to it in anime form. I hope they are able to do a better job this time around. Kanokon had the same issue, though the manga form wasn't really that great to begin with, so they simply added 10x the fanservice in the anime to make up for it.

I liked the series actually, but I did want two things to be improved on. The story and the fight sequences. Story was eh and the Fan service keep me into it.

The fight scenes are what pissed me off. There's was only two good fight sequences the one in the sunflower field and the last episode. The anime could have been so much better if it had more intense fight scenes. Really every episode was the fight was over like *snap* that.

@ Gambler: R+V (the manga) is comedic. But it does have its serious moments too. It's just that the anime pretty much failed whenever things were 'serious'. I woulld also like to add that I doubt anyone will enjoy the fanservice this time around since we had Kanokon and still have ToLoveRu.

@ ultenth: While the R+V anime isn't as ridiculous as, say, Najica Blitz Tactics with its 150+ panty shots in a single episode, but even having 20+ panty shots in a single episode is way too much. Unfortunately, it looks like the second season will follow the standards set by the first.

@ York: It looks like the second season of the anime will skip the rest of the original 10 volumes of R+V, and instead will start with R+V2. Looks like the story was thrown out the window. I'd recommend ignoring this season until you've read the manga up until this point. Honestly, the manga is very average, but it can still be enjoyable. I feel that the mangaka would be much better off doing a seinen/horror manga because I feel that his ability in creating the creepy 'atmosphere' is quite good.

I've seen 5, or 6 episodes and I thought:
"Maybe there are some pussies in this "hentai" ",but there were not pussies, but only panties, and guy who have so many chanses to laid beatiful Moka-san, and he screw this chance...

Most popular R+V character(not to mention 2008 motemote winner) Mizore and least popular R+V character Ruby.

I prefer the manga over the anime, though I still watched the series ^ ^

the only thing better in anime is imo Mizore's look.

does any body know if they will make a 3rd season

well, if they don't put some crucial points from manga into anime (like desperate Mizore striping in front of Tsukune :twisted: ), I'm afraid that if there will ever be season 3, it would suck like hell.

Hey...I liked Ruby. I don't see why she is the least popular, must be because of her not getting as mush face time as the others.

And everybody else has already said most of my thoughts concerning the anime.

For those who watched the anime read the manga from the start. There's a lot of things not shown in the anime.

No it's only upto chapter 16 so far.

Rosario + Vampire II (year 2) is up to chapter 16, but Rosario + Vampire I (year 1) is completed with 40 chapters. It is far better than the anime and adds more seriousness and depth.

Not to mention it's good.

I can actually stand Moka's existence in the Manga version. :P

Well Iam just glad Ruby is getting air time in Capu2 and R+V Season2 manga.
