wait for season 3 :P
there's still the elf girl (saw her in a doujinshi), the ring and Saito's promise, and i'm sure that the novel is a lot longer than this one
and i've just realized something: "Tsukaima" is translated to "Familiar"
so the title means "Zero's Familiar"
and "Futatsuki no Kishi" is "Knight/Warrior of the Two Moons"
The moons when aligned become a portal to the Saito's world, so... yeah
for now, the wars are happening mainly because of the stolen ring (the one from the lake)
and Albion was just being "used"
Albion was easier to control since it was in a civil war before it became Albion
so there's definitely something bigger than just Albion
i'd guess that a Zero mage is responsible for all of this and there's something hidden deep in Tristrein
Albion could have been used as a tool so that whatever that is in Tristrein could be acquired safely

Elf girl might show up in season 2 as we see her outline saving that horny blonde guy.

Well the ring is important its been established. Saito still has to get it back to the Holy spirit. The ring is the cause of the war between it and there is smething bigger behind it, but if so which country is plotting all this, or who is?

the main antagonist is evil and/or ruthless, probably powerful but not enough to conquer the world by himself/herself
motive?
well, it's not someone who is trying to go to Saito's world since it has been said that it was possible to go there when the two moons are aligned
there could have been some ancient civilization underneath Tristrain that contains many secrets...
or maybe some gateway that allows passage to other worlds
maybe there's the some Prince of Darkness sealed under Tristrain, and a cult or clan wishes to release him
for now, it could be anything, but Louise x Saito and that are two different things; and i'm starting to get interested in the big plot

Well we can Confirm for sure More powerful characthers are going to be introduced. And Perhaps there might be ancient ruins under Torstein, why else would some one target it? Saito is definetly goona get something kick ass eventually i think :)

the ultimate ending should be Saito going back to his world
but he should get laid before that will happen XP
there are human characters who are already stronger than Saito
(Louise' former fiance)
the Gandalfr and Void powers should be explained too
(they had time for some flashbacks)
like, why does the Gandalfr power only work for real weapons?
either the runes tell how the Gandalfr could use the weapons, or the weapons contains the memories of how they are used (Delfinger is a second-hand weapon)
and when will be something considered as a weapon?
it's either the person's perception or the weapon needs to have killed already
argh!! i need some Type-Moon style detail!!
but i doubt that, the novel wasn't very wordy... is it because it's a light novel?
anyway, season 2 is coming to a close
progress was delayed by Agnes' desire for revenge :x
(come to think of it, too many coincidences are happening at the academy... maybe there is something special in Tristrain after all)
and i bet that we'll be seeing season 3 in the summer of 2008

Hey first post guys, so I don't have an avatar or sig setup yet. I've got a question or two for the faithful here in this thread.
Are the novels out in English speaking countries?
If not are there groups translating them like with the Suzumiya Haruhi Novels? And has *that* crime (the one that shut down the latest EP of School Days) affected this show too?
Thanks for putting up with me, I look forward to hanging around.

The novels... I believe a few groups are translating it at the moment, but those translations really don't do the original novels justice. I intend to read the originals, so I don't know where to get translations... jonsmith should know.
And since this anime doesn't have bloody violence like Higurashi ni Naku Koro ni and School Days' last episode (damn it! They basically shouted in our face that it's going to be violent!), no, it hasn't been axed, so to speak.

Ah, the last epi was pretty good. Saw Saito's revival coming.
That preview of the new show at the end looks pretty cool. I think it was called Prism Ark?
