To Love Ru

I doubt this topic is going to be a hit with members, but I just have to talk about it. Along the way, you will understand my main reason for doing so.

A romance-comedy manga, illustrated by the creator of Black Cat, it depicts the high school life of [font="Arial Black"]Rito Yuuki[/font], who is smitten with [font="Arial Black"]Haruna Sairenji[/font], yet does not have the courage to express his love for her. After another failed attempt, [font="Arial Black"]Lala[/font], an alien(?) from another planet appears mysteriously in his bathtub nude, while trying to escape from her father's matchmaking. [font="Arial Black"]Lala[/font] looks exactly like a human being, with the exception of a devil-like tail. Due to some misunderstanding, [font="Arial Black"]Lala[/font] believes that [font="Arial Black"]Rito[/font] wants to start a relationship with herself, leaving [font="Arial Black"]Rito[/font] in a fix, as his true love is [font="Arial Black"]Haruna[/font]... Will things change as the storyline progress?

I have always been an admirer of the artwork in Black Cat, but the genre wasn't to my taste. Now that a romance-comedy manga, filled with ecchi scenes, is out, I can't help myself from purchasing the first two volumes at a single go, and I am currently up to volume 6. Expect lots of ecchi scenes, weird gadgets and even tentacles, since it does have something to do with aliens.

I read the manga due to anticpation of release. Read up to chapter 90 (which I think is the most recently translated, I maybe wrong) All the girls were wearing maid outfits, which was pleasant ^^.

Been following the manga, excited for the upcoming anime, but still disappointed that MxO isn't getting any adaptation anytime soon.

I was thinking the exact same thing a couple of days ago.

MxO's the only one in that group of manga that hasn't been considered for an anime adaptation.(referring to Rosario+Vampire, and now To-Love-Ru)

Riko is surprisingly hot. You will know who the character is once you read the manga.

I have mixed emotions about that, you will also know why in the manga.

It's a hit with me! And btw, is the person who draw this manga, also did Black cat? If so, it'll explain two characters in To-LOVE-Ru....

The mangaka of To Love-ru Trouble, Kentaro Yabuki, is indeed the same one that drew Black Cat and Yamato Gensouki. It explains why a character in TLT looks like Eve-chan from Black Cat and Riko (I think it's her?) looks like Rinslet Walker from Black Cat.

Ahh yes thank you! Eve and Kyoko in the manga is exact clones of the ones in Black Cat, I was too surpised at first. Their role changed but at basic they're mostly changed.

I think they're in the manga because they didn't play big enough of a role in Black Cat..

Depending on where you are, To Love Ru may already be available at your local manga store. Alternatively, you can read the scanlations uploaded to the internet. Just do a search for it on any of the popular search engines. :)

At the moment, in japan or scanlations, still waiting for em to release it in america.
