Noir hands down. Kirika just has something about her that hooks my interest she reminds me of Rei Ayanami she is so mysterious and soft spoken. And most of all it has a great story line. 2 girls that met as children and didn't know it and made a pilgrimage to the past with each other.

Kenshin(Samurai X): Trust & Betrayal OVA.
A lot of people think as soon as I say the words "Kenshin" I'm referring to the series, but to be frank the series fucking sucked. However the prequel OVA Trust & Betrayal was truly amazing... It had the perfect balance of everything I would want in an anime...
If you haven't seen it yet I suggest you watch it, there are only 4 episodes so it won't take long.

I'll just name my top 3 favorites:
Rahxephon. The series was a masterpiece. Neon Genesis Evangelion done right.
Clannad After Story. Never has anything had me so emotionally attached as Clannad AS.
Darker Than Black. Had good intrigue. The main character also made the show very enjoyable.

All time favorite is soultaker.
first, its 13 episodes of awesome goodness, animation, and story... hold the crap.
second, the animator chose to use low amounts of color for many scenes. so in terms of this, you could be in an amusement park where its supposed to be like a rainbow threw up, but instead its red, black, yellow, and orange... which lends to the atmosphere they want to set, like its eerie or creepy.
3rd, the babes look great. nuff said

My fave Anime are:
FLCL: it made me realize that life was short, and to take chances!
Blood the last Vampire/Blood +: one of the best Vamp series out there. stuff like Vampire Knight seemed to "Twilight" to me...not my cup of tea!
Air Gear: because i want a pair of AT's. Also because Oh!Great's art is awesome!!
GTO: Because i wish he was my real Teacher when i was in school!
Gantz: was like OMFGIJSBAD!
Wolfs Rain: nice and peaceful story, Plus it had lots of Wolfyz!
Toradora: Cute love story,and i liked the ending
NHK: because i too can get paranoid of the outside world! O__O
Blue submarine #6: such an original story line and characters. "mutant fish girls FTW"
Bakenonogatari: nice ART, and nice storyline!

BECK - Pretty much same reasons as Nikon. I play guitar (not quite the same as what you'll see in the anime, but regardless..) and I have a general love for music.
And uh..(crap,see? Running out already. >_>)
FLCL - Because it's short, lulz, and epic. (Not a Haruko fanboy, btw)
TTGL - I don't think I have to explain this one..?
