man 4kids is fucking yugioh 5ds up T_T skiping epesiods come on T_T

They messed everything up. I almost puked when I saw the English dub.

I'm liking how the 3rd arc is going so far... Gotta love the fact that Yusei still makes his own bike parts, even if Jack or Crow keeps busting them.

episode 69 came out so thats cool yeah I am just going to watch the subs now seeing that 4kids can't grow any balls.

Several episodes in and I must admit, I like it. Huge upgrade over GX and as good or probably even better than the original. I also like the fact that the author isn't scared to kill off characters in the series. Though I must admit that synchro summoning is used a little too much for my liking.

The original is always better. Anything from 4kids is nothing but total shit. Everything is butchered and the awesomeness of the show is just gone once it's dubbed.

It's the same in OCG. Look around you - almost every pro's deck revolves around Synchro Summoning now. Can't complain, since I'm one of them. :P I really like it actually.

at least the main character this time doesn't look 10 years old *facepalm* their characters are getting better but their hairstyles are getting weirder... it went from spiky to insane... but i still like it! haven't watched much of it though...

Actually, I still find Yugi's hair the craziest.

I watch it but TNKP's scripts have been getting kind of behind lately.

For those complaining about the motorcycles, there are actually plenty of normal duels. I think there may be more normal duels than riding duels, actually, though I never kept track.

The D-Wheels only make 5D's better and more exciting. No one should disagree with this after watching the first season!

well i am glad that five ds not only made me watch the anime again but got me back in the tradeing card game.

Sadly I can't find time to play the card game anymore, plus the last card shop in my area is closed down for another freakin' clothes store. Plus hardly anyone here plays anymore.

Well because of this thread I at least pulled out my old cards i had PRE GX and looking back on it I wouldn't change a thing. All those duels we had with the neighborhood kids and getting our things taken away from school was well worth the money and time spent.

Nice thing I do like about the new series is that the animation doesn't look complete half ass... Then again I catch it when I'm coming home from the third shift and listening to the English dub -.-.

Wow! I never expected to find a 5Ds thread. So let me ask this question. What was your favorite twist in this series?

Mine personally was when they introduced dark tuners and synchro monsters. This of course introduced the concept of negative levels. It makes things more enjoyable to see.
