This is because they care. It's gonna shame their name. Someone who was a plebeian doesn't fit the name of their house.

Heck, even a Count doesn't come on par. That's nobility to a serious extent, if you ask me. Louise may love Saito and may want him for the rest of her life. But her family is just hellbent at thinking about pride and fame. It's a way of life.

So is there anyway Louise's family will accept him? Will Louise have to change her name so shes not associated with her family or something? Don't tell me it will be like Romeo & Juliet

In a rational sense, one would simply have to elope. Or well, the other way is to convince the family and make them bear the shame, which a normal noble family would decline in a flash.

I haven't read the light novels so I don't know what really happens, I'm expecting Saito and Louise to convince the family, somehow.

And thus he also became the Heart of God... Now that I'm fulfilled I'll just sit back and relax and for them kill the last boss and give us the All-So-Expected-Anime Original-Generic-Inconclusive-Comedic-Harem ending for ecchi LN adaptations... (And THIS DOESN'T MEAN I HATE IT)

Spoiler:
That was kind of an anti-climactic escape. I was expecting Tifa to suddenly chant a void spell like Louise just did.

Damn you Saito!! you better take care of Lemon-chan and Melon-chan!!!

Just watched 6.

Impression of 456. Harem crap again. Noble crap again. Eww.

At least ep 5 was acceptable.

I'd agree with harem, but not noble.

gather up some hunters then lol...
Spoiler:
Yes, even though Saito's death is really inevitable (Loss of Del, usage of heart of god, taking a blow for someone, or dying a warriors death), I still really cant see it getting a sad/bittersweet/tearjerker/rage ending... It can only lead to a comedic ending, a married Louise end, or a happy harem ending. Still things can really be unpredictable because its heading to an original ending.

I still can't believe that Louise full name is base on a IRL person http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louise_de_La_Valli%C3%A8re (thx for my teacher for sharing me)

Spoiler:
What a way for a sword to die. 2 episodes left I guess. I refuse to believe Saito dies until I see it. I'm guessing "Louise's Choice" is to make an ungodly huge explosion spell at the cost of Saito's life to kill this dragon that seemingly came out of nowhere.

Sometimes I wonder how much time has passed in Japan since Saito left and what would happen if he just turned up there with Louise.

Well that was sad.
Spoiler:
Now he'll just have to find Doraemon to go back to Louise.

Wow this was good! I can't believe Louise left Saito back in his world. It's sad that the next episode is the last one. NEED MOAR! D:

Never cried at this series until now. Wasn't expecting her to send him back. How on Earth/Halkegenia is he going to get back? (rhetorical question) Is he going to bring a serious weapon with him?

Episode 11:
Spoiler:
Well shit, Louise made her choice to send him back, eh? I expected Saito to beat the fuck out of those bullies on the backalley... but he got pawned so easily, guess he's nothing without an actual weapon.

I'm expecting Saito to somehow comeback, I doubt Louise can take out that dragon with her own magic. But the chances are that they may end up living on in their own worlds. If you think about it, Louise is the only one who can bring Saito back. Saito sure as hell can't come back because science can't teleport AND magic pretty much doesn't exist in Earth.

So it's all up to Louise... who knows, she may go to his world to live with him. That would be an interesting sight to see...

@rowanatkinson23: Lol wow, I see names like "Henrietta" and "Colbert" there. Even "Guiche". It tells a good tale of love too.

Don't really like how they are twisting up source material and placing priorities on less important stuff.

Hmmm.... It's a meh OK for me I guess... I can't point out really bad/blunder parts and same with super cool scenes... I did expect that

And ever since he fell in love with Louise and you could add up the end of season 2 to that, the harem end possibility has seriously deteriorated. For people who says this sucks for not having a harem end, well Saito is not Rito and too bad for you.

I mean if the end was really made crappy, it would really leave a bad aftertaste on me...

Last Episode:

I was so excited for this I could not wait for it to turn up on any streaming site.

Spoiler:
By some miracle I remembered season one as how Saito was going to get back when he got to the airfield. His lines after getting Louise into the plane felt so out of place. I was expecting Saito to die and I'm guessing he does in the LN's because Delfr's "you live but you lose the Heart of God" felt out of place.

I liked the ending though. After the whole wedding deal in one of the previous seasons anything less than that would have received a good bit of trolling. We did miss the interesting discussion in Louise's family about being with Saito, not complaining though. I'm curious as to how much time passed on Earth between Saito initially leaving and returning married to Louise. There will be a very confused family.

Finally, ZnT is completed. This season did finish the LN's right?

While not the best of endings, it was at least a satisfying enough of an end to the anime that I feel like it's not a complete waste of time to have invested in the series.

It leaves a little wanting, but nothing too bad.

Novel is doing better but its a fine ending for a long sought series... I suppose... no not really but at least, at the very least I got to see the pairing i wanted... although it's inevitable. Oh and I didn't see that boorish good for nothing maid that I hate so much so yes it's a win.

The series has a whole is kinda lacking, even the finale of season 2 which is still the most epic 5 minutes in all of ZnT. Still the ending is quite vanilla and very acceptable. I like the last 5 minutes but the episode itself still felt kinda floppy with the extremely normal animation and how Louise is hitting Saito while he's flying a jet at 400mph. Still that ejection was kinda cool though what a waste of a fighter.

I can't believe we didn't get a harem ending... THAT IS AWESOME!
