February Update
4
Going forward I'll be doing monthly updates to share what we are working on and the status of the team here at FAKKU. From the start it's been one of our goals to have the community involved as much as possible, we'll be stepping that up even more going forward. Each month feel free to ask any questions relevant to the topic and I'll do my best to answer them.
FAKKU Team
In January we welcomed two new full-time employees to the FAKKU team. Kisuka has joined us as a web developer and will be working alongside me bringing new features to the site (one big one will be launching in the next week or two). Clara joined us as a typesetter and has started working on Nama Purin, which we are hoping to release in March. That brings the grand total of full-time employees at FAKKU to eight, huge improvement from me running it alone out of my apartment a year ago.
Hanafuda
As you've probably already seen we announced Hanafuda by Okama yesterday, this is a special book that we've been working on getting for a while. It was actually one of the first titles we requested while we were still in Japan after signing our publishing deal. Okama also gave us some really nice artwork to hang up in the office and even drew a signed illustration in my paperback copy of the book.
February Releases
Before the end of February we are planning to start orders on our next two books, Porno Switch by Hisasi and Toroke Manako by Hyocorou. One of the two will be available online before the end of the month (probably Hisasi) and the other book shortly after. On our best of 2014 page we included some easter eggs for some unannounced titles, nothing935 was able to figure out Hanafuda a full month before we announced it!
Future Projects
In January I spent a little over a week in Japan working out some new licenses and projects that will be launching later this year. They are big and it's going to take quite a bit of time for us to figure them out, so you won't be hearing much news about them until the middle of the year. Just a heads up that EVEN MORE awesome stuff is coming. We'll probably start experimenting with some new products on the store (other than posters), so if you have ideas feel free to post them here.
Illustrations
Both pyon-Kti and Kisaragi Gunma are working on special thank you illustrations for the users on FAKKU to thank you for buying their books! They will probably get them to us sometime next month. We'll probably put them on the front page and provide some really high quality downloads of them. Maybe we'll even print them off and bring them to conventions throughout the year.
Renai Sample
In January we finished shipping out everyone's paperback order of Renai Sample and you all should have received it, if you haven't email store@fakku.net with your info and we'll see what's going on. Additioanlly you can now purchase Renai Sample from J-List, Rightstuf, and Amazon.
Download Updates
Finally, we've updated the downloads links for every book we have released so far. These new downloads were made with a better encoding method that results in higher quality images throughout the book. We will be using this method on all releases going forward, so make sure you re-download your previous purchases to get the absolute best fap material.

Are any of the other books and upcoming books on release going to be sold through J-List, RightStuf and Amazon, mostly Amazon?

We'll see if Amazon distributes the books overseas. In my case, it isn't listed on amazon.de yet. Well, that doesn't matter, as I already have a copy of RS. (^_^)

You know somethings I would love to Fakku do at some point is:
More Shirts and updated shirts in the Store:
There's a lot of things you can do when it comes when it comes to shirts.
How about a shirt with Momoka on it? I mean she's a big part of Fakku. Or a "[____] is Best Girl shirt" The waifu game is a big part of the Fakku community and I feel like some people would pay for a shirt of their lovely waifu on it. You could also put a render of them on it. I would pay for a nice shirt of Miyuki on it that said "Miyuki is best girl" and on the back had my name one it.
How about some Fakku Posters or wallscrolls, could also have Momoka on it, or art from the books, or of you Jacob(would buy) xP
A big, big thing I would love to see in the store at some point is Dakimakuras.
This is a big one because if buy a Daki and it's not from one of the following places, Hobby Search, Evening Call, Amiami Website, Boncool, BWStore, Dakemakura, Mandarake, Yahoo Japan, it's most likely a bootleg, sadly. So, if you could buy a "real" Dakimakura from somewhere like Fakku it would be a amazing thing.
With Fakku getting bigger I feel like there's a lot of things you could do.

Does this timeline not allow for the illustrations to be printed in the books themselves?
*edit*
Just saw Puni-kano already had the test print done, so guess it's a no on that and likely Gunma's too. So instead, I'll change the question to: can this be done such that in the future it becomes possible to print them in the physical books?

Everything looks great, only things I can think that could be good to sell in the store are posters of momoka (there's some great deviantart artists and whatnot), visual novel hentai games (if you ever released otome games I would die a happy woman though I know it probably wouldn't happen lol), eroge magazines, as tsamari said new t-shirt designs (maybe a jacket even?) for the logo and daki's are an interesting idea. Only other things I can think of are figures and those funny anime breast/ass mouse pads or even just ecchi mouse pads, and generic things like mugs, plushies, bookmarks, bags, paperweights, bookmarks, etc.

I find Dakimakuras too weeabo even for me. So, I don't really see myself spending money on them. However, I'm sure other peeps here would sell their kidney and their mother for one.
I do look forward to posters, postcards, bookmarks, plushies, paperweights - pretty much everything already mentioned by Misaki - perhaps even canvas prints, I love canvas prints ._.
If you, Jacob, manage to handle all of this in a good manner....You might become more successful than J-List (I'm assuming they are doing well)
