It's hard to know how good it is. I read Renai Sample and liked it, so I bought it, but I don't know how good this is so I don't know whether to commit to buying.

A free chapter (or at least previews of a few chapters) would, I assume, be the better option. I can tell you that unless it's from one of my absolute favorite artists I wouldn't pre-order anything I'm not sure about.
Well, it wouldn't matter much to me specifically actually as I'd just wait for scans of the raws before I made a decision, but not everyone will do that. For those that wouldn't, I think a free chapter or at least some sort of preview ahead of time would be the more effective option.

I'd think 3-4 pages would be enough, a chapter would be good too though.
You just need that amount to tell whether the art is to your liking and what the overall feel of the book will be like I would think.

Yes please do this one, Hyocourou is a superb mangaka. I agree that some kind of preview is necessary, I personally would like a whole chapter but even a few pages would be nice.

Anyway, if this is his new stuff than I only have one concern (I'm buying it anyway). How can we stop those scums from pirating this without hurting the flexiblity of the customer (I for once wouldn't care if I can't download it, just so it's exclusive in fakku, but others would have different preferences) you think you could make a deal with a book app, or better yet, an app just so we could store books to read offline? You know, since every system have their own app store now.
