MEME50 Box Set coming to Fakku Store?

in the title really, is Fakku going to sell the MEME50 Box Set on the online store?

They did confirm digital will be made available

They need to print more of these...soon.

That not how con doujinshi works. One print run and no reprints. Doujins never get a second ed... only time that happens is when they get collected and made into a tankobon like Futabu or Marudashi x Sister. Osana Hime Kankan is my fav example of this. I don't remember if jacob printed 100 extra bosshi mix or what was sold was what was left from ax15, but if this is the case maybe there some at the store. I can't find the thread which had the info, but i don't think he reprinted since it was on sale at the end of the month.

Even though doujinshi works are just printed once, isn't it possible to print it up in larger batch? Sure, it's intended as an exlusive for the anime expo, but there's loads of people overseas that doesn't have the money or the time to be there. I would throw my money at it, if i could buy the physical box from the store.

Yeah. I can understand and live with limited edition etc, but the simple fact is that Fakku lives and dies through online sales and subscriptions. After the issues with too little availability with the Saitom box last year, it would be very disappointing if the same ugly thing happened again. Don't take lessons from Nintendo...make enough product available to satisfy the customers. An item this major with obviously high demand, never even getting any sale opportunity for those of us unable to travel to a con on the other side of the continent...just doesn't sit well with me.

They do but it's a line you have to decide on how many you think is needed and the demand. Unsold stock is a drain in space. I think i remember jacob printed extra for bosshi just for the store. I believe saitom did have some just for the store. But im remembering and not knowing for sure.



Restocks=/=reprints. They buy the leftovers from the circles if they have some, circle prints extra for shops and used copies. Toranoana don't print them. But in the end it doesn't matter. Either they have some they saved for the store or it sold out. If they didn't do it for saitom or bosshi there not gonna do it for meme50.

The only time a circle ever reprints is for a reprint collection(same as the boxes were taking about roughly) or a tankobon anthology(which futabu is). That just how it is in doujinshi. Can Jacob reprint them... im sure meme50 wouldn't care anyways. Will he... never know. Is it a thing normally... not even in the slightest.

Well im sure it has happen but it's rarer than a 6 toed foot. Comiket and con doujinshi items sold in Comiket are considered very rare (because dōjinshi are hardly ever reprinted). I doubt reprints here, but like i said sometime they left a sack for online. I have no idea if jacob took all of them to LA. It's not like i don't want one too.

Good news! We set aside a small number of physical MEME50 Box sets for users that couldn't make it to Anime Expo. Those will be made available on the store at a scheduled time sometime in the future (we'll post in this thread when we have made that decision).

It will also be made available for digital purchase.

Will those of us who went to AX and purchased the physical box set have to double dip for the digital version? If not, how would that work?

Nope! If you bought the box set at Anime Expo we'll hook you up with the digital edition when it's available, more on that later.

Good to hear. Now just going to have to monitor the site several times a day until release to make sure I don't miss out on this. Also, when you say small number, can you give us an idea on how many that is. A dozen, more, fewer?

Thanks for doing this, by the way. Not everyone can make it out to those conventions (as much as many of us would like to), so it's cool to see you do this for the fans that can't.

I was one of those guys who was in line day 2 to find out had just sold out. They gave me pin and sent me on my way. I learned my lesson fakku booth first thing from now on.

Ima try and get my hands on hard copy but relevdled go here will be digital if I miss It again.

I had fun at fakku panal my favorite part is when everyone was cheering on monster girls.

The box set had a fox and elf on it so really wanted those monster girls was crushed when couldn't buy it.
