Can we stop giveing suggestions?

I think the point of the forums is so that we can all express our opinions. Is there a reason that is harming you?

Not harmed but I'm concerned if left unchecked we could have pages of opion and miss iimportant update. The topic was a question with asking for info on the book not opinions on how the book should be sold.

A lottery? Email notifications? Keep it simple a date and time is all we need.

Well, if you would read the comments on here you would know, that does not work for everyone. It may work for you, but not for myself and others.

One of the cool things about Fakku is that it is a community of people. The Fakku community is diverse and I think worth listening to. I hope one day you'll feel the same.

I just hope there is a lot of copies so there is a decent chance of getting a physical copy. MEME50 is really popular so I hope there are more then the Saitom Box.

The did openly state that they only had 300 Copies of the MEME50 Box (Saitom had 500)

Spoiler:

So unless they printed 300 to sell specifically at AX and they printed an additional like 100 or so to sell on the site they might only have a small batch that they purposely held back.

An exact number was never relased.

We do know that the first batch went up for sale and sold out in around 20 minutes.

A second vey small batch was relased which sold out in 10 minutes

The 3rd and final batch took around 2 hours to sell out. (at least I wanna say that, according to the original topic in went up at 7:12 pm EST and someone said 6 copies left at 9:08 pm EST)

How about a price. Anyone got an idea on how much this might cost? I know the saitom box was around 80, so are we looking at a similar price range? Just curious is all.

Why does it take this long for the digital box set to be released? It was ready for anime expo, so why wait a month?

On the contrary, it takes a lot of work for us to get the doujins and boxset completed in time for the printer to have them returned to us by the time of Expo. Typically when doing books we prepare the book for digital release and then get the book ready for print release. In this situation it's reversed and when we get back from Expo we typically have a lot of other projects to continue working on in order to get them out to everyone in time. So it just takes a little bit to get 6 doujinshi that was made print ready to be properly prepared for digital release. I promise I'm not that much of a sadist 0:^)

Thanks for explaining! It still seems odd that it takes a lot of work to prepare the digital release while the book already has been printed, but I don't know the specifics in getting the digital release ready. I hope it will be released soon! :)

Why the process for the digital and print release is reversed is beyond me. I ordered the saitom box on 09/04. I am sure this was the first day for the orders. Could be a couple of weeks for the openings of the orders for the MEME50 box.

Good news! We set aside a small number of physical MEME50 Box sets for users that couldn't make it to Anime Expo. Those will be made available on the store at a scheduled time sometime in the future (we'll post in this thread when we have made that decision).

It will also be made available for digital purchase.

Any updates or ETA on physical online release?
