Yeah, it's the same paper size of XXX Mix and a lot of other doujinshi. The Saitom Box is one of the larger page size ones I've seen.

Project-H published them last year at Anime Expo and had some on their site in either late November or early December. Apparently all of the MC Academy ones are still available as of writing this.

They are kind of pricey, but comparable to FAKKU's physical doujinshi if you only get the physical copy from Project-H and not the digital (Project-H's digital copy quality is inferior to FAKKU's, fyi). The paper quality is good too unless if they for some reason had a reprint with poorer quality paper (which would surprise me and I find it unlikely since it's a more premium item).

EDIT: Also, if you get a digital copy from Project-H, I'd recommend getting the .cbz since it's very easy to convert to .zip. You literally only need to rename the file extension and it should work (you may need to use a program like 7-zip or WINRAR to properly open it though, I've had some issues in the past with just opening it with Windows Explorer).

I wonder if a lot of people might've been scared off by it. I know I was going to order one originally, but once I found out it had scat I decided to pass on it. *sigh* As much as I like Meme50's artwork, it doesn't sound like it fits inside my comfort zone.

Sucks b/c I was really looking forward to that KanColle one. =\ Still super cool that Fakku released it though! Also kudos for reserving extra copies for those who couldn't make it to AX again.

We actually prepared a lot better this year, we had 4 times as many copies of the MEME50 Box as the Saitom Box last year. I'm really happy that everyone who wanted a copy got one!

Got mine in a few days ago, the housing for the books is a lot thicker and it has a solid weight to it. Looking forward to future boxes.

I also got mine a few days ago. I have to give big compliments for the safely packed box. It arrived very fast and in perfect condition with my other books here in Germany :o)

Also from Germany, went to the customs office today to get my box. The man working there looked at the big boobed and naked sorceress on the cover and then said "So... is this for minors or mature content? Forget the question. It's a comic. Of course it's for children too...."

Only thing left now is to wait for the reprint of the Saitom box....

I think the question for the nature of the content was because of the distinctions with the tax. In Germany we pay a reduced rate of 7 % for books, but if the book is pornographic we have to pay the regular tax, which is 19 %.

I know. I just thought it was funny how he looked at the bare breasted cover girl and still decided against labeling it mature content...

Funny thing is that I didn't have to go to the customs this time. They decided 7% tax themselves lol

And the other books together with the box clearly say mature content ;o)
