The only problem I have with these releases is with the prices. If you buy Punikano in Japan, the book will cost you 1080 yen which is the equivalent $10.80, whereas it costs us $19.99 here, quite a considerable difference I'd say... Although, I guess it is reasonable, considering the amount of editing and effort it takes to produce these. Especially the physical copies.

I'd say it's pretty normal for manga in the west. It's a little more expensive, but you're getting a manga that's adult rated and uncensored, not to mention the high quality jacket that you don't typically get with other manga.

If it's any consolation, it took me much longer than Renai Sample to edit. I had many more graphic sfx to handle, and much more hand written text over difficult patterns that I had to manually recreate. We put a LOT of love in this book and I hope it shows.

It's not that I like paying more (who does?), but I think the prices are entirely reasonable too. And if we get one of those full color tankoubons at ~$24.99 I won't complain either, high quality color prints aren't cheap, nor the effort that comes with editing I'm sure.

Wwas able to purchase it just hours before release, pricing does seem pretty fair for what we get too.

This doesn't bother me one bit. FAKKU Books is doing a lot to deliver the hentai experience I want. The supreme quality and speedy access are completely unrivaled. My only regret is that I simply cannot purchase hard copies at this time. But big thanks to FAKKU! I'm thoroughly impressed with what they've done.

Sorry about that, I'll get this fixed tonight. For now I suggest downloading the x3200 .zip file and renaming it to .cbz

Thanks for your response. I was able to create a readable .cbz file per your suggestion.

Hi there

Similar to Renai Sample; will the physical copy include a double sided pinup poster?

I doubt they'll be able to reduce the shipping costs, what you could do is buy the digital version, wait until there are few books that you want out, upgrade to the paperback version and have them all ship together.

That's a good idea, I'll have to make a feature that makes it easy to upgrade past digital orders to paperback.

Update on the paperback date for Punikano, we are currently expecting to receive the books in mid February! Once we receive them they start shipping out to customers immediately.

Just curious but I thought the release date for the paperback was in january? Is it another delay like Renai Sample? Im just going to express myself and say I hope these won't happen anymore with future titles. Once you announce a date it should be set in stone already. Well anyways thanks for the update Jacob can't wait to hold this book in its all physical glory. :P

It sucks, but I understand shit happens. This is the reason why I haven't purchased the new 3 books yet. They are set for release in march but I move out of state soon after that. I really don't feel like dealing with, will it get here in time or not, should I send it to the new house or the old one. To save myself the headache ill just hold off on buying them till its closer to release.
