Renai Sample's late coming is quite the annoyance, but at least I know that it came safely to america.

This. Originally it was projected to ship in january but seeing as it has taken this long for renai sample i can't imagine that will actually happen. These are teh first to h-mangas i have ever purchased so im pretty pumped to get them in the mail.

It would be way more expensive to lose the entire holiday season than it would be to pay some workers more while you figure out how to skirt their union bullshit. There are a few ports that are still in operation, but the demands of these union workers are ridiculous. Are we 100% sure that these work stoppages are really what is too blame for the delays? Seems like a pretty well timed excuse considering i ordered some stuff form J-list in october and it got here not too long ago. Hopefully jacob actually updates us again this week with the exact details instead of just leaving us in the dark with ambiguous details about work stoppages. I want specifics. What port, why, how long, and what can we do, the stuff that he should be figuring out.

The port of Seattle isn't the only port on the west coast, and there's nothing guaranteeing that what you got came by boat.

Way I look at it is if he had any information to update us on he would have, but it's useless to update people when you don't have anything concrete. Also he's probably busy with the book issues, future book sales as well as the holidays (he's human you know). They're also pretty new to this so depending on their experience in business, things like this tend to happen.

I would say that concern is warranted since we all to paid for merchandise that we wish to see eventually, but other then stating such a concern no sense in complaining about things we don't fully know such as port issues with shipping things. I actually got hit with a similar issue due to the holidays where some of my overseas purchases will be delayed till late January. Not the same issue as here mind you, but it just goes to show that not everything you purchase will come in on-time.

At this point I would be willing to drive to Fakku HQ pick up everyone's books (at least those that are in the United States) and start delivering them straight to the homes of the people who ordered them like some kind of Hentai Santa Clause!

Well I mightaswell say something to, the way I see it is his is there first venture into publishing a book and honestly it takes alots of work, though I do admit I am worried about the book getting here at the wrong time and someone else opening the package.
