Glad for the update but what I'm worried about is:
How can we change the shipping address if we no longer live in the address we entered?

I really hope I can receive this beautiful book. I've waited patiently and I would hate to see this book end up in someone else's hands. :/

any news on when we can expect another update on the shipping process? What caused the delays? When your new expect date to ship is?

I'm not jacob, but delay occurred by thanksgiving weekend.
ordered book is approximately 20000~40000, and Assuming 'Faster order, Faster ships' rule, shipping date will be late this week ~ early next week unless packing not finished or jacob sleeping with chitose.

not pretty sure, but one thing I can sure is he have to do it somehow until new years day. if not, there will be massive explosion of frustrations in forum. and he would know.

Thing that sucks most for me and other international buyers...even if it is send before christmas and stuff, delivery will still take 1-2 weeks until it will arrive... :-(

Has this been affected by the work stoppages at the docks on the West Coast? I know there have been some major issues at the Ports of Long Beach, Los Angeles & Seattle.

Most likely, the books are delayed at the port coming into the United States. So yeah it's probably related :(

Well at least its in the united states and not sitting in the middle of the pacific somewhere. Hopefully they hire some scabs soon so we can get those books faster. The wait is literally killing me

Can someone tell me how to change my address before my book will be shipped ==?

If you go to the store it is in your settings. My Account> Account Info> Modify Address Book Entries.
Then after that email them at store@fakku.net and let them know you've changed you address and need it updated for this shipment.

Yes indeed been pretty dead, i'm just hoping I get my book before new years.

Yeah it would be pretty cool if we could get additional information since we haven't heard anything relevant all week. Even if the information is "well you are screwed, we fucked up and you have to wait for an unknown amount of time" i would prefer hearing that than just not getting any news at all. I understand that there are problems with releasing your first book, but overall i am pretty disappointed by how in the dark we are being left as of late. Weekly updates like the one Jacob started the thread with should definitely be a thing, as well as in depth details as to what exactly the problems are.

He just posted those on Monday. Books are delayed at the port, likely due to random work stoppages, and as such were delayed.
