why must it be sub only?
you can do donations and give subscription time based on donation amount? then it can work via paypal. just have a button to donate. and confirm transactions with person by having him send you a screenshot via pm. multiple trading sites do digital transactions that way. it "supports" them.

The site can't be legal and illegal content. It can have free content later, which they will eventually put in. But it won't be much.
As for the donation method, that's not an overly viable method. It's a shady loophole that paypal might find out about, and crack down on

I don't know, PayPal might be for it. If the problem is PayPal does not like automatic payments, then that could be the fix, because the user initiates everytime. It depends on "why" PayPal does not like subscriptions.

I like the idea. Someone could use PayPal to buy a month of subscription access that doesn't auto renew. It would be like a stim pack on heroes of the storm where you pay and get time added if you wanted. If automatic payments is the problem then for PayPal just don't do that. :)

It's not the automatic payment that the paypal problem, it's digital porn they don't want to support. They don't care if it physical, but digital adult content they said is a no go.

Long time listener, first time caller.

Honestly, this is a fantastic thing to happen to the site. Not many people realize that Crunchyroll essentially did the same thing years ago, and now they're the biggest site for (legally) streaming anime.

The people who are complaining that $13 is too expensive honestly have no idea what they're talking about. I've bought hentai in Japan before, and I can honestly say that if you're paying only $13 for ~800 pages, that's a fucking helluva deal.

The people who are complaining about there no longer being free stuff on here, if you ask around, you probably can find other piracy sites. It's not hard.

Disappointing but not surprised, just a bit sad, been here lurking for quite a long time, just never needed an account. Just hope your users are secure and site isn't breached for NSA dragnet surveillance and the like now that CISA has passed.

Hope all goes well but personally will be heading back to older sites. If anyone has an awesome list of sites still open now would be the best time to post it, unless I missed it in which case link plz.

i have no problem as long as you bring back the series that i really liked, another world, wise ass and many other manga's and dojishi. Although if i you don't bring them back then i will find another site, I want to support this sight but if you just bring me vanilla series i will be looking for other sites.

I didn't look because it's bedtime, so I'll say that people that are claiming the site will die are full of it.

I wasn't thrilled to see everything gone, but I'll live and so will they. They want free, but the quality of service this site provides will bring them back, especially when you offer the different subscription prices.

The only real competition Pururin, god rest it's poor soul. However, whether it ever comes back or not, I would very much enjoy FAKKU! making use of some of it's pro points, like a blacklist. I can't stress it enough, especially since I saw so many people being vocal about it already. Not having to spend hours picking through their favorited tags for things they just do not want because of the limited displayed tags will enhance an already great experience, especially if it's just darkened covers so people know to skim right by it, unless it's by a favorite artist, etc. So they can make the choice whether to go in.

TL;DR FAKKU! is here to stay and while a lot of people are leaving, they'll be back.

I have had an account with Fakku for three years now, and have been visiting for longer than that. I would say five years or so. I love Fakku because before I found it, it was hard to find translated hentai, or at less a lot of it. Fakku is the reason I am big into hentai, I even bought a book from Fakku, Peachy-Butt Girls, paperback and all, and I love it. The thing is that I am disappointed, it's not one thing for say but it happened over time. First, tags that I loved and would look at frequently started to disappear, then later showed up again as subscription base. Then every new hentai that was added needed to be paid for, which is one reason I didn't go to other hentai sites. Today I go to my favs to look at hentai I know I don't need to pay for and they are all gone. I understand why they were removed, doesn't mean that I wasn't bummed about it. I would pay to look at hentai on Fakku, and most likely will when things are done in my life, it just feels like this site went from freaking awesome to alright. I believe it will go back to being freaking awesome down the road, and I will be here when it returns to its glory. Had this on my mind for a while now and saw this as the best place to put it.

P.S. I red a comment that said this website has the best interface for a hentai/porn site and I agree. I believe it has one of the best interface of any website.

PLEASE remove the account for the one created for thatbic@gmail.com. I did not create the account and that is my email. I did not mean to validate the account by logging in. Please delete it. Thank you.

Well you didn't technically failed, it more like you disappointed us free viewers from any great doujins and genres in this website. The subscription is ain't too bad either is that.

1) $12.95 per month is too pricey just to fap.
2) Fear prevent me from paying anything porn related from my debit card that shows my history record.

Whatever you going to do in the future is up to you and team so i could careless and find some other free hentai site. Its been 5 good fapping years so sayonara and good luck, Fakku.

I would like to know, the subscription, is the price set as a pay the price per every subscription. Or is it the opposite of that where you pay the base price to view multiple subspriptions. Sorry just made an account today and wondering

The 12.95$ per month covers both magazines and the future one(s).

To be quite frank, my only gripe is that I can't even view what doujins I had in my favorites anymore. What I mean is that if supposing I (or anyone for that matter) did want to either subscribe/purchase here or anywhere to attain said doujins I have to strain my memory to do so. Versus simply checking my favorites, regardless of if they were offered here anymore. That aside, I do admire the good intention. How it pays off for the doujinshi industry, we shall see! Best of luck.

For me, subscribing to see mostly content that I do not enjoy/having to support authors that I do not respect is a little off putting, so unfortunately I probably will not continue to visit the site for reading. However, I am very excited that the site is providing a means of supporting the authors that I do enjoy through the purchasing of their books that are being gradually published, so I hope the best for the website regardless, in all of its pursuits!!

I think this decision to delete the vast majority of Fakku's content will be immensely costly. Whether or not this will be the actual death of this site or not, I can't personally say, I dunno. I will say that I think this is shooting yourself in the foot though. Given that A) you've lost SO much of your content (losing both variety and the ability to have a relatively equal mix of paid and free material) and B) it's a paid subscription, I think Fakku's going in for some hard times.

This decision really fucking bums me out, since I've been on this site for several years now and I'm always checking in regularly to see if there's any new shit. I'd credit fakku with getting me hooked on new fetishes and everything! I'd take a plunge into a new original work not knowing what to expect and come out feeling super happy (orgasms aside) knowing that, that kind of content was exactly why I came here. Fakku has had an incredible impact on what I look at in regards to hentai (and porn in general) and I'm really gonna miss being able to scroll through my dash and have the joy of finding some new hentai that piques my interest.

That being said, I'm not gonna delete my profile or anything, but I pro'ly won't be visiting that much at all anymore. Gonna head over to E-Hentai at this point.

I dont care if you do this whole thing, but i hate how you deleted all my favorites.....i mean now i won't remember the ones i REALLY enjoyed...-.-

Few things.
1) piracy is never ok, so kudos on your decision. They work hard, they should get paid for it.

2) your infrastructure isn't ready for such a drastic change. I, like many others, enjoy Fakku occasionally and appreciate it but simply cannot commit to a monthly payment. Suddenly requiring "subscriptions" will have drastic changes to your client and customer base, which I'm sure you already knew; however, I think you could salvage a large portion of these faithfuls by doing a one time payment option. You mentioned the possibility of monthly packages, that in my opinion would be a far better option, as long as you can cancel anytime.
Possible solution: enable free members to view randomly selected pages OR the first say 30% of pages in a book or series. While full members obviously get 100%. Promotes the artists work, Fakku, and still doesn't promote piracy.
Good luck!

really wanna stay but until i get me some alternate methods of payment im outtie. don't want my routinely checked card have fakku written all over it my parents will literally kill me even though im second semester first year college. paypal is pretty much impossible and i have no clue on how to even use bitcoin. not to mention that 12 usd is gonna be like 17 CAD so no way i would even subscribe now because the selection is pitifully small. i understand why of course and i support the option. but the only real reason why manga and anime is pirated so much is because the lack of proper distribution. crunchyroll is great i sub to that but even thats not everything the selection is really limited. there's really no online subscriptions for properly translated and licensed manga (that i know of) the major issue is that there is a lack of ways for us to get manga and anime properly and i feel is especially worse here in canada. when i first started watching Owari no Seraph i torrented it because it was easy and readily accessible ( not available on crunchyroll). i don't regret it because there was just no other way. sure enough i ended up supporting the actual creators by buying the japanese CD of the first season. i dont speak or understand japanese i just did it to show support. long story short its the lack of real distribution that causes this paricy to run rampant the way it does and now its even harder to just not make it free anymore because it has been for so long.whats happening here is great. its giving us a form of distribution. and i hope that maybe one day ill be able to support FAKKU again.

i can understand how people can be upset. but don't think it's that bad. yes i pay monthly and i own most of the books. i'm not really into all the content. if i need to find something else i just go to E-H. since they have everything else.
