Is Jacob still active in this post? He said he would be reading all the replies and giving feedback. I haven't seen any replies from him since the first page.

I've seen some good questions and really good responses from the community, but I'm really hoping to see Jacob's input on some of these questions.

well one developer responded saying they implemented something to do with the favourites you once had. even then thats all they commented on. still no words from jacob and i doubt we'll get any response from the bigwig himself for a little while

Do you remember any of the good questions off the top of your head?
The thread is kind of hard to follow while everyone is busy doing work, plus there's all the "fuck you" posts to wade through.

Why not give people previews of new series? Kinda like digital manga sites do, read the first chapter for free and then subscribe/buy the rest of the series?

Is it possible for you to at least add a "Free" tag so those of us who can't afford to spend money on a subscription can quickly and easily find what we're looking for? And also possibly a way to select multiple tags is our searches. I think that would solve a lot of complaints.

There's a discussion about adding a free trial for subscriptions, so that should help in previewing the subscription if implemented.

If you were talking about the book, there are sample pages available on the promo pages.

There's also the upcoming free content, but not sure if it's from the books, subscription, or a combo of the two.

edit: a free tag would likely be added once that is put in place.

i've been a member for a couple of years but don't have the money for it cause everything i get is used for bills and food and the animals i take care of its only once in a long while that i actualy have money for myself when i first found this site i was happy cause i can see them for free but with this new thing ur doing it's hard on me for the free members u can do something like challenges to give us hard on money types a chance. like some games with a point system that with enough points they can look at certin mangas and maybe with more points they can put them in thier faverites if u get what i mean

In the future I would like to be a paying user.
I'm not sure how subscription works though.
When you pay, do you also pay for the contents you don't want?

Will you guys be getting fuetakishi work back? I really enjoy his artwork.

You pay for whatever is found in the two magazines we provide, which is Comic X-Eros and Comic Kairakuten. You gain access to the backlog of what's been released as well as what is currently being simupublished for as long as your subscription lasts.

@dictor it's a possibility, at least one of his/her works is published under Wani.(If I looked that up correctly.)

I'm still wondering about the topic concerning Shindol's work not being apart of the subscription.
I don't mind supporting his patreon but I think a lot of subs will be upset with tacking on another $5 a month and possibly more if more artists jump on the patreon wagon.

I think that the price is much too high. There's no way I'm gonna pay more for porn than a Netflix subscription. I saw a post saying they're thinking of introducing package deals, but that really doesn't make anything better for me.

As a long time lurker of this site, I can't say that I am entirely happy with this decision as a lot of my favorite doujins were on here. That being said, I do understand the decision to do this and make it a legal hentai site since piracy always comes back to bite the person in the butt. I do hope to see the site grow to have a plethora of hentai doujins and plenty of futanari and NTR.

Think of it like a Netflix account. You have access to everything, you can pick and choose what you want to read by using tags. Books on the other hand are separate and you can buy those individually on whatever suits your fancy.

I thank you for the time i have spent on here, but if you have removed what i liked to read, i am afraid i must depart. Thank you for having this site put up. It was fun while it lasted. :)

I'M MAD BECAUSE WANT EVERYTHING FREE AND FOCK YOU.

Joking aside, I support this decision, looking forward to see more and more content, is still needed!

just made an account. God, so much stuff I loved, gone. It's heart break. But, maybe legal hentai is one step closer to the cultural victory I predict Japan will have over the world. I just hope you guys stay secure and legitimate since y'know, you're doing that now. I can't not support people wanting to put bread on the table for whatever they're doing...
ignore the username.

EDIT: oh. I guess more non-h stuff would be nice too. may as well broaden your portfolio.

I have to say I'm disappointed.
Fakku has been (or was) my favorite site for a long time.
You would have kept a lot more viewers had you at least kept some free content.
What you dont seem to understand is that if there is a doujin that I see in fakku that is for subscribers only, I just go straight to the nearest search engine and find the same doujin on another site for free.
Am I being cheap?
Sure.
But theres a million of me. Which means now that you've pulled this bullspit, you just lost a million supporters.
Good job, sellout

Ill just take my business to doujinmoe
At least they're not all jews over there

I have a serious question, how much would it cost me to get Jacob to author/be the artist for a hentai manga geared towards monster girl soccer moms?

Wow... Been here seven years it seems. I guess I kind of always took this place for granted. Assumed the classics I liked would always be there. I never bothered to save them because hey Fakku has my back and stuff. This seems so very surreal because I never saw this coming until it already happened. So it's all gone and I have to try and rediscover it all and do my best to remember those books that I can't just search any more. It sucks, but it is what it is. It's a weird punch to the gut, but I'm assuming it's from me just not paying attention to soemthing in the background.

But yea after almost ten years it's time to say goodbye guys. This is not Fakku any more to me and what once was a cool place to find this stuff just isn't any more. As for the perception that so and so shouldn't be free well plenty of stuff is. I can go on YouTube and watch a lot of stuff for free. I can read a lot of webcomics for free. I can go on websites that are not illegal at all and catch up on an entire comic series from any of the big companies. I can watch an entire series, again not illegally, from my computer for free from a number of different websites.

I understand a desire to make more money it just wont be from me and that makes me sad. I liked this place a lot and it will be sad to never see it again, but the world changes and I should have been a wiser person and kept better track of the things I enjoyed. Good luck and I hope, though ignorantly, that this decision is eventually changed.

Like Crunchyroll Before it I watch as Fakku alienates the silent majority of its patrons by taking the legitimate route.
Like CR I will be leaving Fakku on principle that Fakku was supported by in its beginnings by the people that used the site. People who gladly came back for the premium Hentai and Doujinshi that they couldn't find anywhere else. Many of us visited your store and chucked at the ads giving you your starter money. The complete focus on Licensed market will hurt you. You will have less content and people will leave in droves because they wanted a vast library of Doujinshi to read or they cannot afford the subscription fees for the meager content you have.
It breaks my heart to see you do this. Maybe Ill stop by time to time and by your book, thought that was a great way to boost profits for Fakku, but other than books. I'm done.

Goodbye

Thanks for answering
I see...so, when you subscribe, you don't buy the contents individually, but the whole Magazine itself? That correct? I'm guessing that's how it works in Japan.

Is there any chance for the people to pay only for what they want in mags, or would there be repercussions if this is implemented?
