If we make a digital purchase online, can we get the physical version of the book shipped once the physical store is available again without having to repurchase the digital copy?

This has always been possible. Before the store update, what I did is:

1. Purchase the digital version
2. Purchase a physical copy
3. Send a support ticket with the order ID of the digital purchase and the order ID of the physical purchase
4. Wait for refund

Im just gonna say this, I have never seen this brought up by Fakku ever. This is the first Ive heard about being able to do this, and I would still much prefer an automatic coupon if I were to buy the physical copy after getting the digital version. Would not be that hard to implement.

It's been in the book FAQ since we been printing books.

Not everyone read the FAQs though.
Like ticklebits69 I had no idea that existed, and I'm a long time customer.
It feels like adding an "Upgrade to paperback" button that does that automatically when someone has bought the digital version should be feasible.

Well, I really hope everything will proceed nicely with getting physical orders back.
Can't really imagine the amount of work and deals that need to be made to be able to sell the physical paperbacks through here.

I wanted to get a book as a gift, so I guess I'll have to take it from Amazon, and miss on the digital copy. And I noticed something. Did Amazon purchase some of your books? Because some books have "FAKKU Store" listed as "shipped and sold by", while others (pre-orders mostly) are saying that the book will be shipped and sold by Amazon. Is this just a setting on their site for pre-orders (that will change once book is available)? Or are you planning some type of Amazon FBA thingie temporarily?
Examples are (that I stumbled on, non-preorder): "I'm Gonna Make You Melt" by Yasosuke Rokkaku, "Tayu Tayu" by Yamatogawa, "The Swim Club Succubi" by Bosshi, and "Let's Get Horny" by MEME50. (not sure if I'm allowed to post links)

Reason I'm asking, is that, if by chance, in near future, you'll set up some way to claim a digital copy off a physical purchase from Amazon - a requirement might be that it has to be purchased from "FAKKU Store" and not any other seller. Are my assumptions reasonable regarding that? Is there a chance something like that could be implemented?
I don't mind skipping on the free Amazon shipping and their 10% discount, if it means I have a chance to be able to claim a digital copy later if I buy from "FAKKU Store".

As far as I know, we haven't change anything in our dealings with Amazon, so it's likely just the way they list pre-order items.

Short answer, no. The free copies are not "free" for us, as we still pay royalties etc. for these items. The reason we're willing to take this financial hit is because we can avoid additional service fees when not using a third-party retailer, which somewhat balances it out in the end. Naturally it also serves as a reward for users who support us directly. As such, it's unlikely we'll ever offer free digital copies for physical goods sold outside of our own storefront.

Ah. So about the other books that are available now - guess they actually purchased some copies. Like "Thicker than Water" by gy, actually has on its page mentioned how many copies are left (12 at the moment of writing) that are sold&shipped by Amazon. Guess they took a liking or someone in the acquisitions department is a fan lol

Got it. Strange that didn't cross my mind. I noticed similar "wishes" being expressed by other members here too. But it seems like an obvious answer, considering the expenses.

Thanks a lot for making great books available to us. It's like a dream come true.

Is there an ETA for when the option to purchase physical books will return?

A heads up when orders get delayed again on the front page would be pretty nice. Make's me feel like an annoying customer when I send a ticket every two weeks, a large majority of the floods of tickets that are probably raining down on the team could be easily cut down with some fun banners telling us what's going on rather than users finding out by going a roundabout way through the forums. The support team has been absolutely backpacking/carrying the sites user base throughout these shenanigans that have been going on.

Yeah forums are nice but when it comes to news updates or delay/issues something other then expecting us to find this information its infuriating a homepage banner wouldn't be a bad idea, hell its a start.

I still don't see a way to order physical books, like:
https://www.fakku.net/hentai/radical-go-go-baby-english

Is this fixed and I found a bug, or are we still waiting for the ability to order?

The Black Friday deals were supposed to be until 3rd Dec. 2022 (as shown in the deal banner "until 12/3") but they have been removed a day too early.
Why though?
