If you read the Japanese title on the YouTube page, you would know this is an original creation, so I highly doubt anyone here would have the mp3 or even a video. Seems like a repost from Niconico Douga, so if you go there you might find it.

The Vocaloid 2 program is a pretty awesome program, I ended up getting it like a month ago, granted I don't use it to make music, at least not much anymore, but it is pretty interesting to use for other stuff too.
I ended up making a whole new sound scheme for windows with it.

Both of those videos are very well put together with appropriate music and nice art attached as well. Neither brought me anywhere close to crying though. I've encountered similar themes in various media I've watched/read.

Id just wanna say thnx, I recently made a accont ( 5 mins ago) But ive been taking stuff from this wonderful site 4 a very long time. Dont ask me why i dident make my accont before. Well anyways Thnx 4 all the nice translated stuff ( cuz i dont understand japanese just yet, but i will get there someday) but i surly think that the japanese stuff is good 2.

It was actually very touching vid - I like it. The illustrations and the music really sets the mood of the story it was telling to the viewer.

Being a replacement is never a good thing... It can destroy a person's soul... Even a synthetic person...

Two things.

1) Jacob doesn't know Japanese. He's learning it though.
2) Honyaku is a suru verb, utsukushii is an i adjective and thus does not need a 'no', and since you are denoting something being acted upon, you use 'wo' not 'wa'. The sentence should run: ジェイコブさま、この美しい歌を翻訳してください。

And no, I won't be translating this, but the gist of this is as follows: the man is the designer of a robot named Kokoro, and, throughout the course of time, he grows old and dies, his own creation outliving him hundreds of years into the future. He tells her not to look inside the system, for inside lies the reason for her creation; but she does, and it turns out she was modeled after his daughter as her replacement. She questions why she was created with a heart able to feel loneliness and pain (hence the name of the song: kokoro).

I'll leave the ending open to interpretation. XD

It's a real pity it's in Japanese though, because the lyrics are very emotionally charged. It seems like only those who understand Japanese are affected by it.
