Time for change! (and a release!)

As our wise new American leader has been quoted saying, "It's time for a change." And us here at FAKKU-Subs agree with that sentiment. I'll get to that in a minute, though. First I'd like you all to take a gander at the newest part of the FAKKU-Subs family, 120% DRILL by Hyocoru. Ershin was kind enough to provide me with a translation, so I figured I may as well give you guys something fap-worthy. Ah yes... changes. I think you all should know by now that for the last year and some change, we have been adamant about watermarking our releases. For good reason, too. There are people out there that will rip off other people's work and claim it as their own. To be honest, that was something we didn't want to happen. But since we've started, we've come to realize that it's really not that big of a deal. No matter what, there's always going to be the biters out there; there's not much we can do about it. Our goal is to provide you with fap-material that's the least intrusive to you and we believe that removing our watermarks is the best way to accomplish that. We hope that you are understanding in this and that by now you can recognize the quality of work we put out to realize when our hard work has been ripped off.To summarize, from now on we will not be watermarking our releases. Anyway, thanks to Ershin for translating this! It's a real gem and definitely one of the better Gurren Lagann doujinshi out there. after forty inputs the general consensus is pro watermark. the virtue of dropping it for a genuine manga experience doesnt seem the least bit beneficial when you guys are sacrificing your credibility. keep the watermark or have a poll to decide, a statistic wont change the communities well-knit beliefs though.

hardcontact has a point, however. if the translators believe this is for the best then there really shouldnt be any amount of feedback that changes your minds. we might not see what you mean to accomplish by removing them so our judgment may be clouded. just know that whichever choice you end up sticking with the fakku community supports it.

Great job, guys. Love it. I was waiting for a translation of this one, definitely one of the better TTGL doujins out there. Glad to see it was you guys who did it. Keep the awesome work up. :D

Hey guys I agree with the others. The watermarks weren't at all intrusive and I'd say that you should keep em there so we know it was you that did the work.

This manga was awesome but a little confusing i had trouble relating to where exactly it fit into the time line of the anime series, anyways regardless the art and story telling were excellent.

I think it doesn't matter whether you want to use watermark or not....
as long as it doesn't get in the way.
maybe if you use unique watermarks it would be better.
