At my high school all it was was watching anime. No discussions, no nothing. College doesn't have one. If you want one, Nashrakh, make one. I remember getting kicked out of my high school anime club and then banned from it.Care to tell us why you were banned?
As for member count, at best, my anime club had about twelve members. Usually, it was just five or six people (including myself). But it was a community college, so that number was to be expected. Still, wouldn't have hurt if it had been a little higher.
A big college nearby has an anime club with a ton of people, and all they do is watch anime in an auditorium. It's something I'd never bother with. Apparently, the only real friends in the club are the officers (president, VP, secretary, etc.), because they're the only ones who have "club" activities where they actually talk to each other. I guess an anime fan could meet other fans there and talk before or after the anime starts, but you could do the same thing by saying hello to someone wearing an anime T-shirt.

Someone decide yelling at me over something trifle and they escalated it into more than it should have, even when I tried to just push the issue aside nicely, and eventually I threatened them. That someone might have been the club adviser.
