I wasn't as mentally prepared as I though I was. I shed tears for the ending half, especially after Madoka turned into a goddess.

It was well executed, I never thought Madoka would have made that kind of wish, I was really surprised. She literally changed the whole world, the whole universe.

What do you guys think of Sayaka remaining dead?

Personally, I didn't cry - but it was touching how she decided to sacrifice herself to alter the rules to be more positive. Key word being alter - props to screenwriters for not just wiping everything for "sugary happy end", but still keeping it satisfying. It's that kind of silent bravery that keeps mankind going.

I think it was well executed to keep Sayaka dead - showing that how powerful you are, some things are just irreversible if other side doesn't want it (remember, Sayaka is implied to have rejected her resurrection, and opted to stay dead).

And she is hot. Not only that hair, but also eyes of gold.

As long as you were touched Captain!! And yeah, gotta agree for that, to be honest, I was expecting something like that, the wipe everything out for a better world stuff.

And yep, I agree there, at the least, Kamijou(forgot his name) felt that she was there before she left, that kinda hit me TT_TT.

I'd seriously tap her anytime

That, and the show enjoys delivering delicious drama regarding characters (and any eventual deaths) and their despair regarding nearly fasutian nature of Magical Girls in this show - with the principal being in charge having an attitude of "Oh, I guess I forgot to tell you, that you have to fight for rest of your (short) life. Bye-bye", while girs are crying their eyes out.

And it ha Shaft animation - so bizzare, awesome animation is guaranteed.
