i think censor is aanoying because most of the time you got those ugly black blocks and too many of them . decensors should be helped so that they can fight against those ugly black things :wink:

Well, I don't mind censor at all. Most of the time, it's practically "not there", just a few black lines or blurry.
But I really mind when it's too fuckin big that cover the whole thing. I remember one time I watched a hentai version of Evangelion: it has this huge bright spot on the genitalia, but not only that, IT COVERED HALF OF THE FUCKIN SCREEN!! The video was like 15min long, and I just stopped it 5min from the start. It wasn't even fun to watch. Later (like a year later) I watched 'til the end. Definately, not good. The animation was really good (at that time) but the censor blew the whole fun.
So, in the end, I don't mind it, if it isn't too big...

As has been said, the censoring is required by Japanese law. Therefore the artists themselves, or publishers are required to censor it before distribution.
Fakku certainly doesn't do it themselves, if that's what you were wondering...

I agree about the blurry censors, but come on guys... Give the white line censor bar some credit. It hasn't had much work since pong.

Your totally right about that one!Whenever they do this weird type of censorship I can only laugh and it total gets my out of the mood .. It's the ken doll syndrome! lol.

I've been wondering what's up with this censorship. Why is h-manga censored anyway?? Is it because of copyrigths or maybe due some other reason???

If the authors doesn't censor them, they're breaking the law.

Oh, i have some stories about censoring and censor bars in particular that would make people's skin crawl. Worst of all i've seen that pops into mind was 'Melon Melon'.
That said, I don't particularly mind censorship in hentai so long as it's not to over the top. Hentai Anime is usually the worst, as at times, i have to just stop watching when they decide that half the screen needs to be blurred out. you know, JUST in case. Never made much sense to me why there is such a large difference between the censorship of moving images verses non-moving XD

lols i think i have an idea why?
when a japanese guy gets "addicted" to something it becomes there whole life
and porn is really "addictive" and becuase of that maybe the government is trying to limit how much pleasure they get from it so they can get a girl themselves
( on a serious note cmon jap guys grow some balls stop playing will dolls and get yourselfs a genuine jap girl it not hard its fairly easy)
on the lighter side the sensors dont do much to people who have seen it already
if you seen the real deal then making it fuzzy or putting lines on it will not change anything
