Well lets see, I joined back in 2011
Back then I was starting my apprenticeship as a carpenter and I was 3 years out of high school. Most of my friends moved away and my family was going through some turmoils.
Fakku was an outlet for me. A place to look at cartoon porn sure, but also the a place to talk to people about anime and shit. I was kinda a closest anime fan as a kid but i never had any friends that were into anime growing up so it was a great feeling to finally have somebody to relate to on those things.

Well 4 years later and I've graduated my apprenticeship as a carpenter. Some childhood friends are moving back while at the same time I travel to see the ones I've made from Fakku at least once a year at A-Kon if not more. Family disputed have settled for the most part and things look very good in life!

I can honestly say the friends I've made from this site are what got me through the darkest of times, keep me going and and will always be the bestest of friends for the future!
Never thought a cartoon porn site would have changed my life so much and made it better lol.

We're all in a worse place but we all try to fool ourselves.

Yeah, I mean in terms of independence and accomplishments, sure I'm better off.

In terms of the sustainability of my dumb habits and lifestyle? LOL NOPE

also I'm in the Fakku cafe chat thread in the IB section I'm the Mascot in the thread and for those who don't know @Ulan is the one who created the 1st fakku cafe here in the IB...
and I spend my times back then in Fakku cafe most of the time or sometimes I just troll in other threads and also everyone calls me Jelly also known as a Dancing Jelly Cat.

and now I just visit here from time to time when i had free time
since life this days been pretty much hectic especially now i'm working my ass out
and I'm a BSIT Grad now working In some well known car manufacturing in the logistics section and doing some part time job a computer technician at home although i don't have customer lately right after i got a job none of my usual customer come to me :( *sigh...
well other than that I'm still doing fine :D

I joined Fakku back in 2009 and I've been lurking since then. I decided to visit the forums again because I saw the article in the Forbes website. I'm not sure if anyone here can remember me.

I joined back in '08. Wasn't 18 yet, so I stayed below the radar. Now I'm 24 going on 25 and pretty much still do the same.

I joined the site alittle over 5 years ago and i always loved 2 go here because of the huge selection but now its getting 2 the point where this site has become dull they just keep removing content its getting old and with that said i have almost stopped going here all together.

Hello, my name is Fiery_Penguin_of_Doom aka "FPoD". Former resident of Serious Discussion and sole voice of libertarian-esq views. I joined Fakku back in late 2007 or early 2008. I do remember signing up around the time Fakku was being promoted on 4chan. Then for some reason the server was wiped or I simply forgot to actually create an account. I digress, I was a frequent user between 2007/8 until approximately 2010/11. I even met a user on Fakku by the name of Brittany formerly ZiggyOtaku/Ziggy and in May of 2009 we moved in together (Wiki). Unfortunately, we broke up in 2012/13 putting an end to that chapter of Fakkuza history. During our time together, we became involved in several political campaigns ranging from local elections to even national ones. Due to the corruption involved in politics at every level I became depressed and disillusioned with politics in general. I partially attribute the decline in my relationship with Brittany to that depression.

Over these last 7 years I've attempted to enlist with the USMC after the death of my mother and collapse of my business during the great recession. Fate has impeccable timing as those two tragedies happened Thanksgiving day. I have also had two failed relationships, one being a canceled engagement to Brittany and subsequent nasty, repugnant breakup with her. I struggled with the aforementioned depression until recently.

Currently, I'm a manager for a fortune 500 company, I play a lot of DoTA, and working on buying a house next year and starting my own business again.

P.S. Not quite the wall of text people expect from me.

I remember you. You were a pretty cool guy. Glad things are getting a bit better for you.
