Lurked for a couple months before I braved the forums. xD I only came for the hentai lol at first. Fakku says I started in 2010. I would come around then poof for a couple months and rinse wash repeat. I don't think of myself as an elder though. Don't think I made it to 1k posts either xD I remember some of the ancient peeps but they disappeared during one of my poofed moments.
Came back after graduating uni and found some peeps wanted Girls Club revived. Got help from @misaki-chi to make a new version.
After a year of searching, I finally got a job doing my dream job (Librarian). Currently working with the public and it has its challenges but I love it. Working towards my Masters now. Hoping for continued success for myself and everyone else.

There's not much else to say really, your PM suggested I introduce myself but I am just an old man that's been here way too long, despite what others may think. I found the site in 2007 and almost never went a day without visiting. That's right 2007 damn it! I am sure a decent amount of the sites current users weren't even 18 back then... oh god I am old. I've made many friends, lots friends, made enemies and even met a lover all on this site.

Oh the stories I could tell....

Oh, well... Still quite busy, but this thread does deserve a longer post from me as well.

When did I find Fakku? Honestly, I don't even remember. The account information says early 2007, but I know for a fact that I was visiting this place quite a bit earlier and only made an account when Fakku started limiting downloads for non-members. I do know that I found it when Jacob made a thread about his new site on the forums of StopTazmo, back then my main source for manga (ancient times, didn't know any better).

It took me quite a while to actually get more active, though. I actually sat out for the first MoteMote because I did not meet the requirements for participation - which was 15 posts, I believe. The second time around the only requirement was account age, though, and the MoteMote threads became my first real interaction with other people here. The very first waifu game also caught my eye at the same time, then came the waifu signatures, participation in various other forum games, and finally finding @ulan's original Fakku café, where I've met many of the nice people here over the years.

Once upon a time I signed up because I got sick of looking at polls I couldn't vote in. Then I signed up and voted in some polls. Then I did and said things in the forumy parts and irc sometimes. Then stuff happened? I dunno, my memory is terrible just like you're all terrible. So I went back to just voting in the polls and moved on to other forums where I had other interests and stuff. Sometimes I'll post in the poll topics just to see if anyone notices and then forget to care to actually check to see if anyone did because I'm not quite that vain. Still, I sign in every week or so just in case someone tries to contact me for some reason. And to make sure my account doesn't get deleted so I can keep voting in the polls. Because if you haven't got it now, the polls are clearly the important thing here. ;)

EDIT: Because Zeriam keeps hasslin' me, apparently I need to elaborate. Joined a bit after christmas in 2008 after lurking for a decent amount of time...I'm assuming this was due to the free doujins, don't actually remember why else I would have come here, but that is as good a reason as any. To be fair, the first person to ever greet me was Zeriam, and we've been buds ever since. Like he mentioned, I do believe we even tied on one of the contests here, which was a lot of fun. Oh! Wait, did I sign up due to motemote? Is that still a thing? I clearly remember running a very persistent campaign for Hinagiku to win. Not even sure why, maybe back then I was really into pink-haired tsundere characters. (Un)fortunately, most of those campaign posts are lost forever due to a minor glitch in the site where most of us lost a good deal of our posts. Good times.

What am I doing today? Nothing really, same as always. I work, I sleep, and every once in a while I check back here to make sure I didn't miss the latest waifu game. Probably a silly reason to come here, but it works for me. ...Oh, and the doujins. I also like boobs n' stuff. The end.

God...I can't even say where i'm at right now. Wait...I'm at Fakku :D but on a seriously note, these 3 years on Fakku have been the best time of my life. I still lurk around here alot but sometimes I can't help but pop in and out to comment on a new release.

But back on topic, who am I? my name is "The simple" or "Simple" and I've been here along time, maybe even has far back as 2006 or was it 07? Either way I'm ancient! I still remember the forum crash in the march of 07/08 it was devastating to say the least, well to me it was. I remember being such a noob back when I joined, god, I laugh about today has I write this post, but I hated it immensely back then. Always getting corrected by Raze in the writing section, it embarrassing to say the least. Although it was made more so since has I looked up to Raze's amazing writing abilities during that time.-sigh- I will never be as great at he is, fast forward time to now; 2015.

My love for anime, hentai and video games has simply put "only grown in size and intensity". However recently I completed one of my life long goals, one I had ever since I first got into competitive gaming. Making a clan; while I would like to talk about this, I'm going to save it for another time/post.

Outside of gaming and in real life things have gotten dark at times and incredibility bright at others, but mostly it's the same old, same old grind. I hope that Fakku and everyone else continue to get more amazing and awesomer each year.
