It was a vestige from my "fuck the police," edgemaster teenage days. I finally decided to update it to something more in line with my current facetiousness laden, comedic mindset. Couldn't use the one I wanted so I settled for a dapper, devilish duck who dicks. Also made a new signature for it, which should be reminiscent of that old tag line you remembered.
On those days in which my patience has reached its limit, particularly at work, I will remember the original tagline. :)

Yeah. There was a period when I was a somewhat active user, used to hang around the IRC and in some Skype chats. Now I check in here, the IRC and Skype every now and then, but sadly I've fallen out of touch with essentially everyone I had contact with on here.
I can't remember if we have conversed in-depth previously. However, your avatar, assuming you have been using it for some time, seems familiar.
It is not too late to reconnect with some of the members whom you have developed friendships with over the years.

If anyone remembers me it's probably for a bunch of failed civic projects, the most successful of which was the Seasonal Writing Contest, which (iirc) I proposed and set up with help from another lost elder, neko-chan. Good to see the far better qualified @Xenon carrying the baton on that one - fiction's never been my forte, and I always felt like a bit of a dick barging in and declaring myself de facto judge of all those people's hard work.
Other highlights include the Fakku Wiki I started in a vain effort to immortalise forum members who probably didn't want another permanent internet record of their sexual proclivities; and a Fakku e-zine, for which I wrote a bunch o' stuff, did some concept work and convinced Tegumi (a Kindle review), Nekohime (a recipe), Rbz (usual funny shit) and the almighty Gambler to submit articles, among others. Never saw the light of day, as my co-collaborator who promised to do all the InDesign work (which I now know would have been super rudimentary) never got further than samples.
Having joined a few years south of proper, I graduated with a bachelors in Journalism last year with gold fucking stars. It being journalism, I'm currently unemployed. Y'all want me to write you a visual novel or comically embellished eulogy, just holler. And it's good to see some of the old gang back together.
Couple of old avis I dug up
Spoiler:
I was hoping you will show up. I must thank Rbz and Opanihuya for luring you here. :D
There are quite a number of users who have worked hard in promoting the Writing and Fanfiction section; you happen to be one of these users.
Is the Fakku wiki still up and functioning? I continue to dream that the Fakku E-zine will become a reality someday. Even a single issue will suffice.
I have been unemployed for quite a while previously. My current contract runs till mid September. If luck smiles upon me, I might secure another job before leaving my current position. Let us work hard in securing employment!
On another note, we should discuss football / soccer more often.
Lastly, definitely the avatar on the right. It brings back memories.

It's pretty emotional. I cried for a while at the ending and just about all the way through the movie. That being said I can't speak for everyone on the crying front, but if you're prone to crying at movies and shows and such then yeah, might want to get the tissues ready. Crying is certainly something within the anime's power to make you do.
What was the movie about? I did not know a movie existed until I was reading it up on wikipedia.

Were you around when I drew the other Fakku group picture? Spawned from a random blurb that Antwon bust out- a tale of heartbreak, danger, and heroism. You feature as one of the protags.
I doubt I can recall the image. Nonetheless, my memories indicate you are a good artist.

Anyway: real life: Started as a student when I joined, as of now I'm still a student. Just graduated like 3 times during the course of my time here haha. I keep contact with some people on ctfg and ib, and occasionally play games with them. Besides school, I have work, at a small delicatessens. I serve there. and kitchen work.
Personality wise I have learnt not to care too much about others during my time here. They're all going to leave anyway. Just appreciate the ones you have. Although it's also through fakku that I found true love, and that outweighs the guilt of fapping 6 times at night.
Learning is a lifelong journey. I ought to put more effort into my studies too. Not just the Japanese language, but in other aspects of life too.
I reckon you are busy these days; I look forward to staying in contact with yourself.

The wiki is indeed still there, although it's probably haunted by this point. The Uncle Phil entry was always a crowning achievement, and Tegumi's was good fun. I wanted them to be a bit silly, to embody that mildly anarchic spirit of IB at the time, and record people's contributions in the same way this thread is now. But it's an issue of time and quality. Having attempted to co-run websites and blogs I know how hard it is to convince people to do anything for free, let alone do it to specific instructions. And that same spirit of not giving a fuck means everything inevitably gets defaced. ;)
As for the e-zine, I could feasibly still make it. I know the software a lot better now, and my writing has improved. But without visiting the forums any more it would be hard to convince people to contribute, or get a sense of what people would want to see. I haven't even watched anime in about 4 years. If it tells you how long ago that project was, the front cover was about the big new anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica - I think Slayer Nexus might have written the review.

Good luck with your work life, though I'm sure you won't need it. As with many fields, journalism is all contacts and experience, so starting out is proving the hardest part; once I nail that first position I'm hoping it'll all click. That or I shoot for Youtube.
I'll go and bump the football topic shortly. There's lots to discuss re: next season in the leagues across Europe, interesting transfers and managerial upheaval. Hopefully Palace continue their revival under Pardew; they have a very strong defence and some excellent attacking mavericks.
That first avatar might be a bit old even for you :D as I recall, it was my very first.

joined when i was underage cos y'know most people did let's be fair. i lurked for a yearish? I have witnessed most of IB's evolution, from freenadia to realitybell asking for advice on how to rape her cousin being two of the most fond keks. Most notable achievement during my time on these fourms, other than being super coolio was getting CTFG separated from IB. (yeah thank fuck for that, what a time that was).
inactive on the fourms now because the golden days of IB are pretty much over - skype groups pretty much killed it, and am pretty busy in life atm, i'm in my masters years of my architecture degree.

Been lurking in 2010 until I decided to actually make an account in 2011, I've made plenty of new friends here and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. I've mostly just been working my part time job while going to school, but it's getting to a point where I might need a little change in my life, but I don't know exactly what or when. I'm not even half as old as some of the real oldfags, but it feels like it's been quite some time since I first came to Fakku.

Name's KLoWn, and I used to be the visual novel section mod, now I just lurk.
That's about it.
Some old Fakku stuff from days long gone.
No sound on this one, some copyright nonsense.
*Edit* Disputed the claim and got it working.
Rewatching this one after so many years makes me realise it's kinda...shit. Should've let it live on in memory. But whatever, for the nostalgia.

Ah balls, sorry man! I'd like to say your name changes confused me but I think my memory is just shot. Am I right in thinking you were going to interview Jake at one point or am I making that up too? I was talking BS about Gambler as well - it was Kaimax I asked to review a couple of VNs. Both upstanding mods, easy mistake. :) I still have all the files somewhere if you want to test that last statement...

Wow, the nostalgia of everyone that's in this thread is just too great. I never considered myself an Elder Perv. Especially considering that this is probably my first post in IB that wasn't directly in the CTFG.
But considering everything, I have been a user here for 4.5 years now. I started lurking back in mid 2008. Made my user profile late 2010 as Zandorf. Lurked around for another year and a half before actually posting anything. Became the disciple of another Elder Perv, Kuro vi Lolitania, changed my name to ObsidianLoli, and then changed it back to Zandorf after I lost contact with him. I used to have a great passion for reading lots of the hentai here, but that's dissolved over the course of the years. I've learned refined tastes thanks to those here, and I've enjoyed my time as well. I've felt the trappings of love, and gave an emotional helping hand to some of those that I've known here.
I've decided to just lurk behind again, as most of my refined tastes have disappeared from this site due to some reasons that I don't understand. I come out only for the bi-annual events that are held in CTFG. The Waifu Game and the Adopt a Loli game, the latter of which I run.
I was introduced to this site by my brother who is 2 years younger than me. Considering that I was 18 when I first came to this site, that's a bit of a problem. I graduated high school, went to college, got sent to the hospital twice, got dropped from college, went to a different college, got a degree, and now I work for an insurance company. Yay, great things have been planned for me... Not really.
Not much else to talk about, other than that I feel like I've finally found the perfect Waifu for me... Not telling because the game is almost upon us. :3

FAKKU Old Guard
So I've been around since around the beginning. For a long while I was super active and busy with the site. Founded FAKKU-Subs back when that was a thing, gave away a lot of awesome stuff, did some fansubbing and stuff like that. Then I went back to school for physics and math, got married, got some dogs, and got a job in the cyber world that keeps me really busy. Thanks to my time being sapped, I wasn't able to join everyone else when FAKKU took off last year. It makes me sad, but my contract isn't up for a while so it is what it is. I really miss everyone and really miss all of the stuff I used to have time for, though :(
I've been out of the anime loop for a couple of years now but I'm gonna try to get back in the swing of it over the next few months.
As for pictures... I snagged this one with one of my best friends over the winter.

Gambler has called for me to rise from the the Earth's mantle (and possibly saving me from being the fuel for someone's car), to roam the lands of IB again.
I first found out about the site around early 2007, when I was just finding out the joys of "playing with one's self" and that prepaid minutes could get me dirty pics of Kagome from Inuyasha instead of saving them for emergency calls. During this minute-wasting porn search I would run into the watermarks for FAKKU all over them, which piqued my interest for the site.
As the years went on, that interest waned but suddenly came back 2011, when I had just graduated from high school and was preparing to attend my first college. And so, a couple of weeks before my 18th birthday, I decided to make an account. My first posts in the form were as you would expect of someone not used to using forums. However, I quickly found interest in joking about the doujins I read in the comments section, which brought me some amount of renown at the time. As more years went on, I started spending more time in the forums than the doujin comments, time which has also decreased thanks in part to life, gaming, music, anime and (for the most part) me just being a lazy ass and losing interest.
So there you have it, folks. As for pics...here's one of some puppies that have taken abode in the humble basement corner of my home.
Also, bear pic, becuse Gyan-bu-raa thread:
