I had one I was regularly, erm herm, "buddying" with about two months ago. We slowly stopped doing it as much because 1) He was constantly stressed from overwork at college, 2) His girlfriend was on his shoulder 24 fucking 7. We're not on bad terms. We simply drifted apart. We hardly talk now, so I suppose it's more or less over. But it's not a bad ending. (I do miss it sometimes though. He was ah-may-zing.)

I hear it ruins relationships...pretty serious stuff. A friend of mine use to have one and it ruined his relationship of 5 years. So, he's now dating his friend with benefits. Though he advised a lot of us to not do the shit he pulled on his last girlfriend as it made him feel like such a douche.

I mean it depends on the person, if the person is in an open relationship with his/her partner fuck buddies would be pretty awesome as long it's not a STD fest.

I for one never had one so I can't give my opinion just telling what I heard from a friend. I wouldn't mind one right now seeing as I recently broke my ties with my last girlfriend.

My ex-girlfriend still wanted to be friends with benefits when we had broken up. I was ok with it at first untill she got another boyfriend. She still wanted to mess around but i felt bad because i thought we were gonna end up getting back together but we didn't.

I'm currently in a situation on weather to or not, become fuck buddies with my best male friend. We aren't the CLOSEST of friends, but we are really good friend and tell each other everything, sometimes too much, but we have sexual feelings for each other, and both have just come out of serious relationships, so its difficult situation D:
I don't want a relationship, I just want someone to screw, but I used to have a thign for him, this could end really really badly.... I guess like someone else said, it would depend if you know its just sex or not, but I have yet to try it..

Uhhhhh I when I saw this topic I suspected it had something to do with the hentai known as Sex Friends. But again I don't know much about relationships but I think if you were to actually have one then you need to make sure you or the other don't cross the line. I mean I get its a sexual friendship relationship but if one of them has a loved mate then the situation becomes much more difficult to manage.

It is fine by me. It depends on the individuals and their situations whether or not that kind of relationship can work. No point in trying to diagnose it as a whole when it doesn't work that way.

jeez, before even thinking of getting a fuck buddy, try getting a gf and lose ur virginity. "experience having or being a sex friend"? Fucking lol. It is no difference from having a regular friend, just that you can have meaningless sex for pleasure with more than one person without cheating.
