Sex without feeling makes us nothing more then beasts in heat. Its feeling and emotion which seperate us from other animals. Well atleast thats what I think from a moral standpoint. I dont see feelings as a big deal and yet in a way I see it as a huge thing.

Sex without feelings... after awhile you might end up falling in love. What your really doing is hurting yourself and the other person. Well I guess if you were to do it and be successful you need to either have no morals or you see it how you see money. Nothing of worth unless used.

Very few animals except for humans have sex just for the sake of pleasure (physical pleasure having nothing to do with morals, reason or feelings), but simply for reproduction, which would make us humans more "beast-like" than animals if we were to follow this logic.

Also, it is not "feelings and emotion" that separates humans from beasts, since animals have emotions as well (fear, happiness, lust, anger, etc), it is reason and the ability of advanced thinking. Some might also add "morals" to that list, but morals is something that humanity has invented, not something that we instinctively have.

I really can not see why having sex without being in love would in any way be morally wrong; it is just sex, physical pleasure, and the most basic need for humans are pleasure, in different forms.

In my own meaning, sex without love is ok, I have had it, and its nothing more with that. I must say though that sex IS no doubt better if you do it with someone you love, someone you really wanna do it with. This has nothing to do with morals, it is pretty self-explanatory that sex is better when you do it with someone you are attracted to.

What do you mean its wrong? The way I see it is a subjective point of veiw. I am both an Optimist and a realist. I try to see it in a full spectrum for what it is. I myself have never done FWB but from what I see this is how it ends up... But then again that itself is also subjective... In what way do you mean by reality my friend?



Well sex itself is indeed meant for reproduction and what I was trying to say was two different things at once... which may not have come out the way I meant it to...

Some people add emotion to physical pleasure’s or something along those lines. From what I see you don’t see sex as nothing more then pleasure right? Well I know from my point of logic it would make all humans out to be beast like and in a way I meant for it to seem that way.

Though from my point of view sex without emotion is wrong and is immoral. I know what feelings are a fabrication of humanity to give meaning for their actions or what not. Still I cant help what I feel.

I already explained what was wrong: what differs us from animals is not the fact that we can have emotions and feelings, since that is something animals have as well.

Reality is that morals does not matter; it is simply something invented by culture, religion and society.

Also, sex does not have to lead to love, broken hearts and depression; that is the point of view of someone that has not had sex or answered love, and thus easily risk falling in love with someone that offers the comfort of sex. Or so I see it.

It is the same as people falling in love with someone just because that someone happens to love you; even if you did not feel anything before you knew about it, it feels safe and is, in lack of a better word, flattering to have someone in love with you. So if you might be inexperienced in that sort of things it leads to you falling in love yourself, even if you never might had done so if she/he did not express their love first.



I see sex like something that is nice and feels good to do, without the emotion of love being involved. I also don't think that pleasure and feelings of joy in anyway can be immoral. Then, as I said, I also think that it is more pleasurable to have sex with someone I love.



That is religion speaking. As long as it is not done for sadistic reasons and no one of the involved feels harmed, but both instead enjoy it since it gives them pleasure and happiness, I can not see how it would be immoral in any way.

To think that pleasure-seeking is immoral is something that is typically added from religious morals (does not matter if you are religious or not, this is where it come from, and is something that society and upbringing have taught you).

I dont see myself as a very religious person. I dont actually stick to my ideals and such. I just like having them. I was spouting my beliefs. Not like I actually mean for you to think as I do. I was just rrying to say the way I see it.

If pleasure is all you see in sex then that must seem to be an shallow way of thinking. If reproduction is all you see out of it then thats a hallow way of thinking. I know Im just attaching the word "Feelings" to it to give it some sort of meaning but as a human I cant help but to give things like this some sort of reason for being.

When I said Sex might lead to love, I was thinking of it in a plot twist kind of way. Y'know for books or movies. I know its nothing but a fiction but Im a romance enthusiast.

I don't think my way of seeing is shallow; rather I think that your way of thinking about sex is naive and obviously unexperienced. But this was not the point; my point is that I think it is silly and ignorant to spout shit like "meaningless sex leads to broken relationships and sorrow" if you haven't actually had a girlfriend/boyfriend or ever experienced sex with someone, fuck friend or not. Therefore I do not think you are unbiased.

Sex feels good, and even better if you do it with someone you love, but it isn't something magical and exhilarating that takes love into account, that is only in your nerdy, romanticist and idealistic little virgin mind (dun take it personally, not really aimed to you as much as to all with naive fantasies).

I had a fuck buddy for a while when I was single, but then I hooked up with my current boyfriend and then found out that my fuck buddy had wanted more when I bumped into him in a bar (I'd only been seeing my BF for a few days) I was very drunk and ended up going home with my Fuck buddy even though I'd come out with my boyfriend.

Not a good idea.

I left the next morning and had a ton of messages from my BF who was worried about me as I'd just disappeared. I was really confused and so stupidly asked my mother for advice who promptly told me I was a slut and had to sort out my own mess. I cried my self sick all weekend and finally decided it was time to fess up to the boyfriend. (did not go well, he said he hated me and never wanted to see me again and anything of mine that was in hi house I should consider binned.) So I ended up more miserable.

Finally advice came from the most unusual source (a 60+ year old woman you I did cleaning for) She told me to follow my heart and do what I wanted to do and that she had had problems with "multiple admirers" as she put it when she was my age.

I went to my Boyfriend's house, who was really drunk I mean wasted as his friends had laden him with beer to help him get over me. :( I feel so shitty about it even three years later. He let me in though was not to pleased and I stayed there all night just talking and apologizing.

I begged him for another chance and told him about how I was stupid and sorry, lucky for me he decided to give me another chance and we are still together today.

Sorry for the life story. It makes me sound like a whore to boot. I was just very confused and drunk and stupid at the time.

I guess the moral of the story is that Fuck buddies are really not a good idea, as someone will get hurt.

There is nothing wrong with having one, as long as both parties are aware of each other's intetions and expectations. This I mean the business between the two, their relationships outside is a different matter obviously
