Maybe im after the times but i never considered taking advantage of women to be GAR to begin with.

In Rance's case he's GAR because he's pretty much conquering the world, pwning demons, and kicking ass, all while getting laid on the way.
Had he just been some douche who ran around and raped women i wouldn't have thougt he was GAR, but i don't doubt that some would, as they're problably the same people who thinks Makoto is "GAR".

Keima is, after analyzing their situation, tricking and "manipulating" the girls to fall in love with him to get what he's after, their runaway spirit and not ass in this case, and then wipe their memory those recent events.
When he's not doing that he's sitting in his room playing eroges.
I don't consider any of that GAR.
