After a few steps, I found myself in some flower field, filled with various flower. I'm confused, where am I exactly? One moment ago, I was floating in the middle of nothing and then, I'm at a flower field. As I was thinking, something pushed me and I fell on the ground. The flower's scent, they smell good, but I started to feel sleepy.....」

「What is this feeling, it hurts, yet, it feels like my body is reconstructing, it's really painful, yet... Relieving... Maybe, I should just let this feeling take over me and sleep away... Maybe, this is all just a nightmare I'm having...」

"So, what's your name?" I ask the little girl as I pick up Desfel. It looks like his physical injuries are done healing, but he still hasn't regained consciousness.
"..."
"What, not much of a talker? I already told you I'm not the enemy."
"My mistress has not given me permission to talk to you."
"Is that so?" Mistress? I don't think I've ever heard anyone ever actually use that word. Makes me wonder how this girl was brought up.
"I guess that means you wont tell me what happened here?"
She simply shakes her head. I guess I'll just hear what happened when this guy I'm carrying wakes up. Carrying someone who isn't moving feels disturbingly familiar. Reminds me of times during my missions when I had to kill or knock out people and then carry them into the shadows so no one would notice their bodies just lying around. Not that anyone would notice bodies lying around here, since this place looks empty. I wonder where everyone is?

We soon find ourselves back in the ship. Upon seeing her 'mistress', she promptly goes off to check on her. While she does that, I bring Desfel to the front of the ship and strap him into the co-pilot's chair. As I'm strapping his in, I feel something lightly tug on my clothes. I turn around and see the little girl standing there.
"Do you have any magical supply that I can borrow from? I can use some healing magic, but because I draw my magic from my mistress and she is not in a good state, I cannot draw it from her to heal her."
I guess it's like trying to charge a car battery using the battery's own power. It's not possible.

I hand her my three rifle power-cells.
"Will these do? They take solar energy and convert it to stored magical power"
She nods and takes them. She holds them closely and stretches out her right arm. A glow comes from it and begins to heal the 'mistress'.

"At this rate, I guess we won't need to go to the hospital." I say and walk back to the front of the ship and sit down on the pilot's chair.

"I wonder when this guy will wake up?" I decide to clean my rifle to pass the time.

(It would haha, I don't think there's one though)

「Ugh... I slowly wake up, my sight is still a bit blurry. I look around me, there are intricate machinery and a control board. It seems that I'm on a ship. Where am I exactly? My sight has recovered, I finally noticed that I'm strapped on a chair. I unstrap myself and see Straha next to me, polishing his rifle. Seeing him, I immediately recognize the interior of his airship. I turned towards him, I have so many questions.」

"How am I alive? Why am I on your airship? Where's Yula?!"

「He tells me to calm down and ask one question at a time. He tells about everything that happened after I was knocked out. How he reattached my left arm and fixed my whole body with these things call Nanites. Considering their miraculous utility, I assume that they're incredibly and I apologized profusely. He then proceeds to tell me that the girls are in another quarter. I decided to go visit them. The nanites are incredible, I feel like my body never went through that hell at all...」

「As I entered the quarter, Lila sees me and suddenly jumps on me.」

「It seems that the pain is still quite present. Looks like she's happy to see me safe, I pat her head. I look behind Lila, Yula is still unconscious.」

"I'm fine, just some minor pain, don't worry. What about Yula?"
"I have just healed her with my magic, she should be fine."
"Good girl!"

「I pat her head and she smiles, so she can smile, she's quite cute. I walked towards Yula and inspected her heart beats and breathing. Every thing seems normal. I feel so relieved...」

"Say, Lila... Do you anything about them...?"
"Them?"
"Those two mysterious guys clad in robe."
"No."
"...I see..."

「Guess we will have to wait until Yula wakes up in order to have some questions answered. Straha might have some questions to ask me too since I decided to check up on Yula instead of waiting for him to ask me questions... I should go see him but I want to stay here. I got myself a chair and sat down next to her, waiting for her to wake up.」

Looks like Desfel went back there to check on the condition of the 'mistress'. I guess I'll wait a bit before asking questions. Still, I wonder who did all this? I don't imagine that Desfel would be an easy opponent to beat, even for an an experienced battler like me. I wonder if I should be getting involved in this? Maybe I've already gotten involved by helping them. I don't have anything going on so I guess I'm free. Mart could call me in at any time, but since diamonds aren't stolen very often I might not be called any time soon.

Even so, I want to explore this world. There are many things about it that have been bugging me for a while now. One of the main questions that has been nagging me is, Where in the universe are we? When I came in through the gate port, where exactly did it send me? To another planet? Another universe? Another dimension? Maybe I'm still in Mundus Vetus, but in a parallel plane of existence? At night the sky doesn't look much different from the way they did in Mundus Vetus but there is no large moon here. Hmmm...I wonder if this place has a space program of some sort?

I look back at my bag and think aloud.
"And what is written in the scroll that that mysterious man gave to me before I left the gate port?"

...Looks like my rifle's clean. A good amount of time has passed so I guess it's time for questions. If I'm gonna get involved, I guess I should know what I'm getting involved in. I walk into the living-room section and see Desfel sitting next to the mistress.

"Desfel, mind if I ask what happened back there?"

Bumpoo-poo. So relaxing =u= ~ *nods*

「Herrohello」*yawns*

「Yula's still unconscious, Lila's sitting next to me, anxious about her mistress' state.」

"Lila, calm down, she's fine now, she's just resting, she'll wake up in no time."
".....Yes..."

「I pat her and she seems to have calmed down a bit. The automatic door opens up, I turned my heads towards it and see Straha coming in, he immediately proceeds to ask me what happened to me.」

".....To be quite honest... I don't really know myself..."

「Straha looked surprised, but he stayed silent.」

"When you left, Lila came to Stella's place and the next day, she sensed that Yula, the sleeping princess here, was in danger. So we rushed over to the mansion, but to only see unconscious bodies scattered around and the mansion itself being damaged. Next thing I know, Lila was being beaten up by two mysterious individuals in dark robes. I managed to beat one of them but the other one... You know the rest I guess..."

「Straha looked even more surprised and confused. He stares at me, wondering if I had anything else to add.」

"I... don't know anything else... Who they were, their motifs, why they spared me.... I'm as confused as you. We'll have to wait until she wakes up to get a better understanding at the situation..."

「When I finished talking, I see Lila being on guard. I pat her head again.」

"Haha, it's ok, don't be so on guard, Straha is a good guy. By the way, Straha, this is Lila, a doll, I don't know the specific details though. Lila, this is Straha."

「When I introduced them, Lila pouts and looks at Straha with a tense look on her face.」

Sigh, another kid. In all honesty, I don't like kids. There are the exceptions like Stella and a few other decent kids I've met but this doesn't doesn't look like one of those exceptions. Still, I have to try to be nice.

"Lila, you say. Pretty name. Let me see if I have something for you..." I dig through a small front pocket and pull out a small lollipop "Here you go" She looks at me, still pouting, but she takes the lollipop and begins to eat it. I turn back to Desfel.

"So you say that you don't know what happened? So I guess that means that the only way we'll find out anything about your attackers is to wait for her to wake up."

Hmm. Even though she's been healed, taking her to a hospital would probably be best, but no doubt that whoever did this might be expecting us there in case we try to seek medical help. That's what I would done anyway.If you injure your pray, don't give them a chance to heal. We should probably move from here too. Don't wanna get found too easily if the enemy decides to come back. I wish I had coffee. I work better once I've had my daily shot of caffeine.

"While we wait, I'm going to move the ship into the forest. I think I saw an empty patch on the way here that might be big enough to hide the ship in. We don't want to be found here if whoever did this decides to come back. If you wish to watch television to see if there is anything important in the news, you can access it by saying 'activate television'. A holoscreen should activate nearby. Also, there is a kitchenette if you go down the stairs that are behind this door. I killed a few wild animals to eat when I was on my way to dropping off Stella's dad so there should still be some meat in the refrigeration compartment. I don't know if Lila eats actual food since she is a doll, but you can help yourself. Make yourself at home since we might be here a while while we out this puzzle together." I turn to leave and then remember something else.

"Say, Desfel, is there any unfinished business you might have back at Stella's house? I think I remember them saying that you left them a scroll to summon creatures that could protect them (maybe that's what's written in my scroll). As much as I want to check up on them and say a proper goodbye, I don't want to return there unnecessarily at the risk of involving them too."
