You can get information from people who have experienced it to glean information so you don't have to experience it yourself. For the sake of example, the guy next door is addicted to heroin. I've seen what it does to people and users told me about the experiences they've had with it. Have I tried it? No. Will I try it? No.
Still basing your movement on someone elses opinion on that anime. Better off reading neutral synopsis on it, deciding and watch one ep to see if it any better/worst then you thought. Strike witches apply. Plus you liked anime i though sucked aids cocks.... knowing my opinion on this... would it stop you before watching TTGL? Knowing someone like/disliked Highschool dicks and d cups.... why would that mean anything?

Im wondering why is ecchi and fanservice always seen as being bad quality. There can be quality ecchi and fanservice you know.Its often in poor taste when whole scenes have no other purpose than fan service. If the whole point of the series is ecchi scenes, it can be done very well, but when fan service has no purpose its just irritating. Ecchi scenes that drive an interesting plot may also work well.
I detested HoTD for the sole reason that there was too much fan service in an otherwise interesting story.

But I have been wondering for quite some time as to why so many people are against seeing ecchi scenes in shows. They see a show see that it has fanservice or ecchi in it and they immedieatly start berating the show saying that such things are ruining the show. I think the opposite actually. I like seeing ecchi and fanservice in shows. I do watch some that are completely ecchi but even ones that are supposed to have a greater plot I still like fanservice in it. Its not beacuse I have any intention to fap to this material or anything, its not a hentai and people should stop saying "ecchi should just be hentai" I enjoy seeing it simply beacuse I enjoy seeing beautiful women. Its actually more pure a reason then you might think. I could even take this to a level saying that if a series has no attractive women at all then that creates a much much bigger detriment on the series then any ecchi would. I just don't understand why people are so against it.

That should not immediately make you refuse to watch everything the other person disliked. More concretely, both you and I watched and enjoyed Mikakunin but we have opposite preference for SAO and Accel World. Just because we both liked Mikakunin also doesnt mean I would immediately watch Love Hina or you would watch MM! either.

What i was getting at is only opinion someone needs is his/her own. There plenty of non-bias reviews and water down plot synopsis that one can make his choice on watching or not. Me saying SAO or Accel world was ok enough to watch doesn't mean it good or bad... just i liked it. People liked Clannad and Fucking Faggot Madoka.. i didn't. Doesn't mean it shite... just to me it was. If my opinion on something hold value on your choice to view it or not then well that your fault not getting a once over and believing what i thought.
But you not watching a great animu like Love hina... disappoint.son

A logical review is good enough, freak. The characters seem generic as is the plot itself. What a lot of people said ITT that are positive are just 'X is best girl'. Others said to expect such and such. That's not good enough of a reason to watch it. That's decent enough information to go off of it. Even if I didn't watch TTGL, sure you can dis TTGL all you want, but you have to have a good reason to back it up. If I feel it isn't good enough of a reason, I'll go on to watch it anyway.
