I would hardly consider myself that immature to completely disregard that form of artistic expression. I said it was a bad political cartoon, not that they're all bad in general, or that I hate them.




You're right, people get offended over many things and they're not entitled to anything from that, but you too are not entitled protection from others scorn. For me personal it's not something I would utter casually in the presence of strangers, but at the same time it's not some cursed taboo that I'm in constant fear of. I recognize the bigotry, discrimination, hatred and despair that came from it(as many other words we don't ever think about), and I think it's important to not forget it as that, even if it's only form recognized as such is in a historical context.

Maybe I'm the on stuck on an Ivory Tower in this case, seeing as how the majority here disagrees with me, but hey, that's life.

God, I sound like a SJW. I know some people will say "nigga" =! "nigger", but it really has never been anything but a variant of that word. Arguing they're not the same is pointless.

I said this word as a forced dare in elementary school (I was really stupid niave) and got punched out cold. I learned to not use slang since I found out the hard way that it can get you into trouble if you aren't careful. Curse words are another story though lol.
