I don't even wanna start on why I'm not liking Kill la Kill so far, plebs will just get mad.

Season 2 of TTGL sucked worse then Fail of the Titans.

The shonen proletarian in me would enjoy reading a classy opinion.

Me neither, it has over-the top fight scenes has moments of hilarity but is bogged down by uber amounts of annoying fanservice and the characters aren't all that interesting. I doubt it will get rid of or dumb down the fanservice unfortunately, but I REALLY see the characters develop.

Of course I wouldn't be able to make it to the viewing because at 10 AM I was at work.

Indeed, in terms of over-the top fights and buttservice (and humor) it does resemble stuff like dead leaves.

I liked Kill la Kill. I don't understand the hype, however it's pretty solid so far. The fan service is ignorable and comparably tasteful, I found it pretty damn funny and to me it feels like a real throwback to a classic anime formula which I found highly enjoyable.

Saving anime? No. Good? Yes.

I'm tired of people comparing Kill la Kill to TTGL, yeah, it's the same crew, that I understand. But, it's Trigger, not fucking Gainax, the budget simply isn't as large. I for one enjoy the fan-service and I think the over-the-top action scenes are great.



AoT's plot development has the pace of a retarded four year old learning algebra; It's been an entire season and we still don't know why the fuck anything is happening. And that's what you consider good? Care to explain what the appeal is other than decently animated action?
